Additionally, they insist that media can contribute to the spread of misinformation and fake news, which can have serious consequences for individuals and society as a whole. In addition, these people think that social media platforms have been criticized for allowing false information to spread rapidly, leading to confusion and distrust among the public. Finally, they argue that media can be addictive and lead to unhealthy habits such as excessive screen time or social isolation.
