Mason Mount has had 2 or more shots in 13/17 for Chelsea this season & averages 2.67 shots per 90 minutes for England since the start of 2021. In his last 4 games for England, Mount has had: 1 shot vs Germany (24 mins played, 1 goal) 1 shot vs Hungary (32 mins played) 3 shots vs Italy (65 mins played) 2 shots vs Germany (72 mins played) He’s had at least 2 shots in 7/10 starts for England. Expect Iran to sit back & absorb England pressure, leading to England shots. The strongest side that Iran have faced since the start of last season according to the FIFA World Rankings is South Korea - in the two games played against South Korea, they conceded 13 shots & 16 shots. Korea are ranked 26th in the rankings, England are ranked 5th - therefore far superior. Bet365 have England at 10/11 for 17 or more shots, and, should Mount start - 11/10 for him to manage 2 of those is exceptionally high. If he doesn’t start, you’ll be refunded in cash. Saka - Over 0.5 assists The riskiest one, depending on game-time. However, even if used as an impact sub, expect Saka to get 180+ minutes in the tournament. If this is the case, the stats look solid. Six assists this season for Arsenal in the league, Saka came on as an impact sub vs Germany in England's last game and bagged an assist for Mason Mount's goal. Expect him to be used as a right-winger, and, should he start at least one game (as we expect him to), he'll be a key provider for Harry Kane. Expect at least one assist for the in-form Arsenal man. England's group of Iran, USA and Wales should result in plenty of goals. Expect Saka to be heavily involved. Christian Eriksen - Over 0.5 assists Easy one this. Heading into the tournament with 4 assists in his last 7 games. Eriksen takes ALL the set pieces for Denmark, who are my dark horses for the tournament. A group containing Tunisia and Australia = plenty of chances for Denmark. Expect them to make the Round of 16, giving Eriksen a minimum of 4 games to bag at least one assist. Neymar - Over 1.5 assists The assist king. Neymar has 9 assists in 12 league starts for PSG this season. His Brazil record is even better, 8 assists & 8 goals in 10 qualifying matches - an unbelievable record. On top of this, Neymar managed 3 assists in the Copa America last year for Brazil.
