Compressed Chronicle — CorePass Release & Upcoming Ecosystem Launches
Welcome back to another Compressed Chronicle with Ockert Loubser.
In this short update, we cover the approval and release of the latest CorePass update, including multichain support, expanded token functionality, bug fixes, and new PayTo improvements.
This release represents the first step in a two-phase rollout.
The upcoming PassKey identity update will follow shortly, ahead of the launch of the Wall Money platform.
We also share what’s coming next across the ecosystem:
• CorePass update released today
• Ping Exchange launch this week with digital stocks and digital commodities markets opening first
• Forex markets to follow alongside the banking release
• CorePort payment links launching shortly after
This marks the beginning of a coordinated series of platform releases across the Core ecosystem.
Stay tuned for the next Chronicle.

Quick Update on the Rollout!
Keep in mind before you vote, the impact it could have on potential new members. I can say though that we have a major update incoming with CorePass where it now only takes seconds to onboard. All you need is to verify your handle once. But would this prevent people from wanting to join. So this is where you as the community come in and can have a voice to this. Because after all we do this for us to better things for ourselves and future generations. I do ask you though to think carefully whether this would stop you from joining a group.
Ladies and gentlemen, i would like to turn to the community and ask the following:
We are considering implementing a Telegram verification bot that links your Telegram handle to your CorePass identity.
The goal is simple:
• reduce bots and impersonators
• prevent scams inside community groups
• create a safer and more trusted environment for everyone
This would NOT change ownership of your account or your privacy — it simply verifies that you are a real community member using CorePass. No KYC verification required. So don’t see this as us trying to know who you are, we are trying to protect and prevent scammers and imposters.
Before making any decision, we want the community to vote.
Your voice matters.
Hit me with a thumbs up whether i should initiate the poll.
Digital settlement isn’t an app.
It isn’t a token.
It isn’t even a currency.
It’s infrastructure.
Identity.
Markets.
Payments.
Settlement.
Built to work together, end to end.
The inception of future digital settlement.

📢 Tomorrow we release a new Core Chronicle.
Not explaining anything today.
That would ruin the fun. 😊
👀 Something new appears in it.
That’s all you get for now.
🚨 Alright, update time. Pull up a chair. Or don’t. 🚨
🪪 The cards
Final card designs are officially with the printers. We’re waiting on proof prints, then we hit the big green “go make shiny things” button. Yes Derek, proofs are needed for quality control.
🐦 Early birds:
You caught your worms. Congrats.
Prices increase at midnight on Wednesday, 14 January 2026.
After that, the worms cost more. Inflation comes for us all.
🏦 The bank (aka the big one)
We are pushing hard for a January release.
We’re currently deep in testing, bug fixing, and the very glamorous process of clicking every button until something breaks.
Can we promise January?
No.
Are we trying like our sanity depends on it?
Absolutely.
Some things are out of our control. Most things are very much not — and those are the ones keeping us up at night.
🚀 What’s coming next
The next few weeks are going to be busy. Like “calendar crying” busy.
Multiple updates, upgrades, new versions, and additional platforms going live.
Yes, this includes CorePass bug fixes and improvements.
Yes, Derek helped by finding bugs in ways no QA engineer would ever dare attempt.
Short version:
Things are moving. Fast.
Long version:
Things are moving. Fast. Slightly unhinged.
A New Year’s Wish from My Father and I
2025 was… how do I put this politely… an absolute character-building exercise.
It was one of the toughest years Core has ever faced. The kind of year that tests your vision, your patience, your sleep schedule, and occasionally your faith in humanity. There were obstacles, organizations trying to stop us, people actively obstructing us, hard decisions that didn’t come with instruction manuals, and losses that don’t show up on balance sheets.
But here’s the thing — we made it through to see the last day of 2025
Not just barely. We pushed forward. We kept building. And somehow, in between the chaos and the curveballs, we brought a vision to life that is very real, very tangible, and very industry-changing.
Few people ever see what it really takes behind the scenes — the decisions that weigh heavy, the moments where quitting would’ve been the logical option, and the strange art of finding silver linings in places that look pitch black at first glance. This year is one we won’t forget. Not because it was tough, but because it mattered.
And somewhere in all of this… Derek showed up.
Slightly confused. Mildly under-caffeinated. Asking the wrong questions, learning the hard way, and somehow still moving forward anyway. Proof that you don’t need to know everything to get started, you just need to refuse to quit.
So from my father and I, thank you.
Thank you to the community, the team, the supporters, the believers, the skeptics who stuck around, and even those who are no longer with us, you were all part of the journey. And yes, even to those who tried to stop us… we wish you a very happy New Year too. Growth is for everyone.
As for 2026?
Let’s just say… it’s going to be legendary.
Maximum effort. 🥂
Happy New Year to all of you.
