🔴 The Central Government has amended the Foreign Contribution (Regulation)  Rules, 2022 aiming to reduce the compliance burden on citizens. 🔴The Minister of State for Home Affairs in a press release today said, as per the amended rule any person receiving Foreign contributions of more than 10 Lakh rupees in a financial year from relatives has to intimate to Central Government within three months of receipt. 🔴Earlier such monetary threshold limit was one Lakh rupees and intimation to Central Govt. was required within thirty days. 

India Designates 5 New Ramsar Sites I🔵 ndia has designated five (5) new wetlands of International importance, which include three wetlands ♒ Karikili Bird Sanctuary, Pallikaranai Marsh Reserve Forest & Pichavaram Mangrove in Tamil Nadu, ♒ONE (Pala wetland) in Mizoram and ♒One wetland (Sakhya Sagar) in Madhya Pradesh; making a total of 54 Ramsar sites in the country.  🌿🌿The Ramsar sites have been increased from 49 to 54 Ramsar sites.🌿🌿

🔴Pahari painting was patronized by the Rajput kings who ruled many parts of the region in sub-Himalayan India, through Himachal Pradesh, previously called hill states of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. 🔴Art Historian Ananda Coomaraswamy clubs the School with Rajput painting. 🔴 Pahari painting, means a painting from the 'hilly' regions, which during the 17th-19th century were notably Basohli, Mankot, Nurpur, Chamba, Kangra, Guler, Mandi, & Garhwal known for their painting styles 🔴The Pahari School flourished stretching from Jammu to Garhwal. Ranging from bold intense Basohli paintings, from J&K to the lyrical Kangra paintings, which became representative of the style before other schools developed, to the poetic representations in paintings from Garhwal. 🔴The Kangra style reached its peak with paintings of Radha-Krishna, inspired by Jayadeva's Gita Govinda.
