Preparations for a ground operation in Iran
Wall Street Journal: Trump is considering ordering a military operation to extract 450 kg of enriched uranium from Iran.
Trump in an interview with the Financial Times: “I want to take control of Iranian oil. Maybe we will take control of Kharg Island, we have a lot of options. That means we will have to be in Kharg for a while, I don’t think the Iranians have any defense there, we will take control of the island very easily”
Meanwhile, the New York Times reported: Hundreds of US Army Special Forces soldiers have arrived in the Middle East and they are joining the 2,500 Marines and 2,500 sailors who arrived in recent days.
Strong in declarations, weak in actions:
The Iranian ambassador is still sitting this morning in Beirut — even though it demanded that he leave by yesterday.
Foreign Minister Saar: “Lebanon is a virtual country that is in fact occupied by Iran. The Iranian ambassador is drinking his coffee in the Lebanese capital this morning and mocking the ‘state’ that hosts him. Hezbollah’s ministers are still serving in Lebanon’s government, which will not regain its independence until the decision is made to confront the Iranian occupation.”
President Trump in an interview with the Financial Times:
“I want to take control of Iranian oil. Maybe we will take control of Kharg Island, maybe not - we have many options. That means we will need to be on Kharg for a while, I don’t think the Iranians have any defense there, we will take the island very easily.”
Iranian media report that General Majid Zakariai, commander of Iran's natural resources defense forces, has died of his wounds - he was injured in an attack on Saturday.
The International Atomic Energy Agency announced that the heavy water reactor in Arak that was attacked has suffered severe damage and is no longer operational.
Reports in Iran: Hassan Hasanzadeh, commander of the "Mohammad Rasoulallah" force of the IRGC, responsible for coordinating and commanding the ground forces of the Revolutionary Guards and Basij forces in Tehran - eliminated
“We have damaged or destroyed over two-thirds of Iran’s missile, drone, and naval production facilities and shipyards,” Cooper said in a video statement. “We are on a path to completely eliminate Iran’s broader military manufacturing apparatus.”
However, Iran remains capable of launching missiles, as this incident demonstrates, and continues to target key U.S. bases across the region despite its diminishing capabilities.
Prince Sultan Air Base is a critical U.S. military hub in the Middle East, hosting a wide range of aircraft supporting operations against Iran.
More than 300 service members have been wounded so far in Operation Epic Fury, according to U.S. officials. Thirteen service members have been killed, including a soldier at Prince Sultan Air Base during a previous attack on the base in early March.

US Forces at Saudi Air Base Suffer Iranian Attack
Multiple American service members were wounded, and some aircraft were damaged in a March 27 Iranian attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, according to sources familiar with the matter who spoke to Air & Space Forces Magazine.
Approximately 10 service members were wounded, including two seriously, according to initial reports.
An Iranian missile struck the base, injuring personnel. Multiple drones were also used in the attack. A spokesperson for U.S. Central Command declined to comment.
Several refueling aircraft, along with an E-3 Sentry AWACS command-and-control aircraft, were reportedly damaged, according to preliminary information. A photo showed significant damage to an E-3, but the image could not be independently verified.
CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper said on March 25 that Iranian missile and drone launches had decreased by more than 90 percent since the start of the conflict on Feb. 28.
Footage shows the booster of a liquid-fueled Iranian ballistic missile, possibly a Ghadr, that fell in a Palestinian village in the West Bank last night.
Residents of these villages often cheer when Iranian missiles fall inside Israel. But when they fall among them, there is silence.
Last week, a similar incident resulted in the deaths of four Palestinian women in a bridal salon.
You would think that someone among them would condemn Iran. But no. No Jews – no news. Condemnation is reserved only for deaths caused by Israeli weapons.
The Houthis in Yemen have officially entered the war, launching a missile toward southern Israel that was swiftly intercepted.
They’ve made the same mistake Hezbollah did.
Israel's operational plans to strike Yemen have been ready since day one of this war. Israel would be surprised it took the Houthis this long to make that mistake. Now, they will have to pay the price.
Al-Hadath reports that Iranian authorities have now published the names and photos of those killed in the Israeli strike on the Beirut hotel about two weeks ago.
While Iran initially claimed the casualties were diplomats, it is now acknowledging that those killed were in fact senior officers in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

Protests against the government have started in Bahrain. Iran is inciting the Shia locals.
Trump:
If it’s a military operation, I don’t need any approvals. If it’s a war, you are supposed to get approval from Congress.
So I call it a military operation.
Trump on Iran:
They have to open up the Strait of Trump, I mean Hormuz… the fake news will say that I said it accidentally.
There are no accidents with me.
