Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Armatrix is targeting 10–12 industrial pilots ahead of the full commercial rollout of its snake-like robotic arms in 2028.

Featuring over 22 degrees of freedom, the 3–5 metre arms are designed to navigate hyper-confined, hazardous spaces across the shipbuilding, oil & gas, and nuclear sectors. By housing all electronics in an external sealed box and relying purely on mechanical links, the arms can safely perform inspections, welding, and painting inside highly flammable or high-temperature zones where traditional robots fail.
