| 3 | Вакансия PhD в Германии
At the Technische Universität Berlin (Germany), we are looking for a motivated PhD candidate for our recently funded Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1743 'MY-CO BUILD: Biomanufacturing, characterisation, and sustainability assessment of fungal-based building materials'. The overarching aim of this interdisciplinary CRC is to optimize and characterize fungal-based biomaterials.
At our department, we have a position for a fully funded PhD position for 3 years 9 month. This position will develop a molecular biology toolbox for basidiomycete fungi, aiming for a broader applicability across multiple species to enable ambitious genetic engineering plans within the CRC.
All students from molecular biology Masters or comparable studies with an internationally recognised Master’s degree can apply. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in genetic engineering work and prior experience in fungal biology (hands-on is a plus). The work will also include collaboration with other PhD projects within the CRC and a graduate school.
