President Trump's DOJ is restricting the options migrants have to try fighting deportation. The admin has changed the process so that most appeals submitted by a migrant or non-citizen are dismissed by default unless the U.S. Board of Immigration Appeals majority votes otherwise. Dismissals will happen within 15 days, instead of being allowed to sit in the court system for years.  The admin is additionally cutting Notice to Appeal down from 30 days, to 10 days, meaning migrants must find counsel, cash and a cause to appeal within 1 week rather than having a whole month. Such a change will 'turbocharge' expedited deportations and may turn migrant detention into a pipeline straight out of the country.
