His journey with Doon Defence Academy began in 2021 when he joined for NDA preparation. Despite clearing the written exam twice, he faced the setback of being conference out. But Ashutosh's determination to serve the armed forces never wavered. He redirected his focus towards CDS, and today, his hard work has paid off as he achieves his dream. Ashutosh wholeheartedly credited the academic classes and SSB preparation at the Academy, where expert guidance not only boosted his confidence but also paved the way for his career journey with clarity and purpose. He also attributes his success to the environment he received at DDA, which kept him motivated and on track. In line with DDA tradition, Ashutosh will be awarded Rs. 10,000 from Sandeep Sir once he receives his letter of joining for OTA. Best of luck, Ashutosh! Diwali celebration at DDA: Lighting a ‘Diya’ to pay tribute to the Martyrs. Victory Parade 02 and cultural performances for the Diwali celebration. Sandeep Sir announced that a Diwali celebration program will be organized at Doon Defence Academy on October 25. DDA Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta mentioned that many families have lost loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country while defending it at the border, and their homes may not be lit with lamps this Diwali. Therefore, this Diwali, let us unite to light a lamp in their honor, celebrating their spirit and sacrifice. The theme for the Diwali celebration at DDA will be 'A Lamp in Memory of the Martyrs,' symbolizing the lighting of a diya in honor of those who sacrificed their lives. He mentioned that the Chief Guest for the event will be Vice Admiral Anurag Thapliyal (Retd) AVSM and BAR. On this occasion, cultural performances will also be presented by the students. On the other hand, for the DDA Diamonds who qualified for the NDA, CDS, and AFCAT return exams but could not receive their awards at Victory Parade 01, a Victory Parade 02 is also being organized. According to DDA's tradition, they will be honored at Victory Parade 02 and each will receive a cash award of one thousand rupees. Additionally, they will be provided with free SSB preparation.
