Being raised as a soldier by his father, he became ruthless and saw humanity as pawns. once he gained his powers, Marcus overthrew the roman empire single-handedly and became emperor without any chance of being dethroned due to his Viltrumite heritage. this led to the Roman Empire never falling under Marcus’ rule as no other forces on the planet could contest his sheer power. as no wars would take place, humanity focused purely on advancing technology, leading to earth being much more prepared for Viltrumite attacks 2000 years later. Within this time, Marcus would have had so many offspring that almost all of the planet’s population had been descended from him. this would have allowed Marcus to make quick work of the Viltrumite invaders and become the most powerful empire in the universe
