At least 550 pilgrims have died during Ḥajj due to intense heat in Makkah, temperatures in the city reached 51.8°C on Monday.

At last, when the Trumpet will be blown with one blast, and the earth and mountains will be lifted up and crushed with one blow, on that Day the Inevitable Event will have come to pass. The sky will then be so torn that it will be frail, with the angels on its sides. On that Day eight mighty angels will bear the Throne of your Lord above them. You will then be presented before Him for judgment, and none of your secrets will stay hidden. [Sūrah al-Ḥāq̈q̈ah, Verse 13-18]

The Ministry of Ḥajj and ʿUmrah revealed 1,833,164 Muslims from 200 countries performed Ḥajj this year. 1,611,310 were international pilgrims, and 221,854 were citizens and residents of the Kingdom.

Jordanian pilgrim, Tariq Al-Bustanji who was performing Ḥajj, passed away in ʿArafah due to heatstroke. His last words were performing Talbiyah and making duʿāʾ for Gaza. May Allāh forgive his shortcomings, accept his duʿāʾ and ibadāh, and grant him the highest of ranks in Jannah.

And one of His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves so that you may find comfort in them. And He has placed between you compassion and mercy. Surely in this are signs for people who reflect. [Sūrah ar-Rum, Verse 21]

Mohammad Zuhair, a Malaysian pilgrim in his 50’s passed away in the Masjid al-Ḥarām last week just 12 hours after arriving in Makkah to perform Ḥajj. May Allah grant him the highest of ranks in Jannah. انا لله وانا اليه راجعون

ʿĀʾishah bint Abī Bakr رضي الله عنها reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying: There is no day when Allāh sets free more servants from Hell than the Day of ʿArafah. He draws near, then praises them to the angels, saying: ‘What do these want?’” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1348]

‎Narrated Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه: Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said, ‎"If one says one-hundred times in one day: ‎ لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل قدير ‎One will get the reward of manumitting ten slaves, and one-hundred good deeds will be written in his account, and one-hundred bad deeds will be wiped off or erased from his account, and on that day he will be protected from the morning till evening from Satan, and nobody will be superior to him except one who has done more than that which he has done.” ‎[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3293] ‎Transliteration: Lā ilāha illAllāhu, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shaiʾin qadīr ‎Translation: There is no god but Allah alone, without any partner. The Kingdom and praise belongs to Him and He has power over everything.

Tomorrow is the Day of ʿArafah. Try and keep a fast in sha Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said: "... I seek from Allāh that fasting on the Day of ʿArafah may atone for the sins of the preceding and the coming years." [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1162a]

‎ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما ‎[Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā waḏurriyyātinā qurrata aʿyunin wa-jaʿalnā lilmuttaqīna imāmā] ‎Our Lord, give us joy in our spouses and offspring. Make us good examples to those who are aware of You

🚨 Two Muslim men were beaten to death by a cow vigilante mob in Chhattisgarh, India while transporting buffaloes in a truck. The bodies of Chand Miya and Guddu Khan were found in the Mahanadi River. Both Muslim men were residents of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Another Muslim man, Saddam Khan, is in critical condition. The attack happened after their truck's tire was punctured, likely by nails placed intentionally. The assailants then beat the men, throwing Miya and Khan off the truck. Police are investigating and have identified four suspects.

Righteousness is not in turning your faces towards the east or the west. Rather, the righteous are those who believe in Allāh, the Last Day, the angels, the Books, and the prophets; who give charity out of their cherished wealth to relatives, orphans, the poor, needy travellers, beggars, and for freeing captives; who establish prayer, pay zakah, and keep the pledges they make; and who are patient in times of suffering, adversity, and in the heat of battle. It is they who are true in faith, and it is they who are mindful of Allāh. [Sūrah al-Baqarah, Verse 177]
