July 11th marks the anniversary of the #Srebrenica Genocide where 8372+ Bosnian Muslims were executed by Serbian forces, purely because of their faith. Most of them were young men and boys, they were buried in mass graves, and some of there are bodies are still being discovered. This year, 19 more victims will be put to rest. Amongst them, 16 year old Azmir Osmanovic who will be the youngest victim to be buried this year and 24 year old Zilha Delic, the sole woman. Footballer Sadio Mané opened the first hospital in his hometown of Bambali in Senegal after donating nearly £500,000 towards it. The hospital includes an A&E department, maternity care, dental facilities, consulting rooms, all of which remove the barriers to access and will help people from 34 villages in the surrounding area. It was narrated from ʾUmm Salamah رضي الله عنها‎ that when the Prophet ﷺ performed the Subh prayer (Fajr), while he said the Salām, he would say: “O Allāh, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds” [Sunan Ibn Mājah 925, Graded Ṣaḥīḥ]

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ My Lord! Inspire me to always be thankful for Your favours which You have blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please you. Admit me, by Your mercy, into the company of Your righteous servants #Quran 27:19
