May Allāh's punishment on the oppressors continue perpetually throughout eternity.

Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه‎ reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying that Allāh, the Exalted and Glorious, thus stated: “I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2675a]

Distressing scenes are emerging from Deir al-Balah in Gaza following an Israeli airstrike that struck a street market overcrowded with civilians, killing and wounding dozens, including children.

Narrated by Ubādah ibn aṣ-Ṣāmit رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever gets up at night and says: 'Lā ilāha illAllāhu, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shaiʾin qadīr. Alḥamdulillāhi wa-SubḥānAllāhi wa-Lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāhu w-Allāhu Akbar wa-Lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata ʾillā bi-llāh.' لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير الحمد لله وسبحان الله ولا اله الا الله والله اكبر ولا حول ولاقوة إلا بالله (None has the right to be worshipped but Allāh. He is the Only One and has no partners. For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. Praise be to Allāh and Glory be to Allāh, and There is no God but Allāh, and Allāh is Greatest And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allāh). And then says: Allāhumma-ġfirlī اللهم اغفر لي (O Allāh! Forgive me). Or invokes (Allāh), he will be responded to, and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted." It was narrated by Tamīm al-Dārī رضي الله عنه‎ that the Prophet ﷺ said: “The first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is complete, then the voluntary (prayers) will also be recorded for him (as an increase). If it is not complete then Allāh will say to His angels: ‘Look and see whether you find any voluntary prayers for My slave, and take them to make up what is lacking from his obligatory prayers.’ Then all his deeds will be reckoned in like manner.” [Sunan Ibn Mājah 1426]

The Health Ministry in Gaza has said that it detected the first polio case in the besieged enclave, hours after United Nations officials called for a pause in the fighting to enable a vaccination campaign for children against the virus. Israel has restricted humanitarian groups’ access to Gaza, and Israeli forces have bombed aid convoys, killing dozens of aid workers. Moreover, the Israeli offensive has put most of Gaza’s hospitals out of commission and the repeated displacement of Palestinians, who continue to face evacuation orders by the Israeli military, makes it difficult to locate and reach unvaccinated children.

O Allah, I am in need of the good You send me. Please grant me a righteous spouse, who will be a comfort to my eyes and a source of joy to my heart. Someone who will help me to worship You, who will be obedient to You and will obey me, and who will be a good parent to my children.

Israeli occupation forces fired shots and killed a horse in Gaza

They are those who do not bear false witness, and when they come across falsehood, they pass it by with dignity. They are those who, when reminded of the revelation of their Lord, do not turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to it. They are those who pray, “Our Lord! Bless us with pious spouses and offspring who will be the joy of our hearts, and make us models for the righteous.” It is they who will be rewarded with elevated mansions in Paradise for their perseverance, and will be received with salutations and greetings of peace, staying there forever. What an excellent place to settle and reside! Say, [O Prophet] “You all would not even matter to my Lord were it not for your faith in Him. But now you disbelievers have denied the truth, so the torment is bound to come. [Sūrah al-Furqan, Verse 72-77]

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported the official number killed by the Israeli occupation forces has surpassed 40,000. The death count is the number of confirmed kills, however thousands of lives have still not yet been accounted for and is thought to exceed 187,000.

My Lord! Inspire me to always be thankful for Your favours which You blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please You. And instil righteousness in my offspring. I truly repent to You, and I truly submit to Your Will. [Sūrah al-ʾAḥqāf, Verse 15]
