Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه‎ reported: I heard Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as having said this (and Nuʿmān) pointed towards his ears with his fingers): What is lawful is evident and what is unlawful is evident, and in between them are the things doubtful which many people do not know. So he who guards against doubtful things keeps his religion and honour blameless, and he who indulges in doubtful things indulges in fact in unlawful things, just as a shepherd who pastures his animals round a preserve will soon pasture them in it. Beware, every king has a preserve, and the things God his declared unlawful are His preserves. Beware, in the body there is a piece of flesh; if it is sound, the whole body is sound and if it is corrupt the whole body is corrupt, and hearken it is the heart. [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1599a]

O Muhammad, verily we will suffice on your behalf for those who mock you [and are blasphemous towards you] [Sūrah al-Ḥijr, Verse 95]

🚨 Norwegian football club Bodo/Glimt announced that it is donating ordinary ticket revenues from the 23 January UEFA Europa League game against Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv to humanitarian aid projects in Gaza. “Glimt cannot, and will not, be unaffected by the suffering and violations of international law that are taking place in other parts of the world,” read a club statement. “We will donate all the ordinary ticket revenue from the home match against Maccabi Tel Aviv to the Red Cross and earmark aid work in the Gaza Strip. It amounts to NOK 735,000 and is donated by all of us.” Bodo/Glimt beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 3-1 in the game.

🚨 Syrian President Aḥmad Ḥusayn al-Sharaʿa visited Makkah to perform ʿUmrah, and was permitted to go inside the Kaʿbah.

A man who participated in several Qurʾān burnings in Stockholm that contributed to a diplomatic crisis between Sweden and the Muslim world has been convicted of incitement against an ethnic group. Stockholm district court gave Salwan Najem a suspended sentence and a fine, saying his actions and behaviour in summer 2023 exceeded what could be described as engaging in objective debate and criticism of religion. Najem was charged over statements he made in connection with four incidents of Qurʾān burning in Stockholm with Salwan Momika, who was shot dead last week during a TikTok broadcast. Najem, who came to Sweden from Iraq in 1998 and has been a Swedish citizen since June 2005, said his actions were legitimate criticisms of religion protected by Sweden’s freedom of expression laws. But the judge in the case, said freedom of expression did not constitute a “free pass to do or say anything”.

Narrated Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه‎: The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are two expressions which are very easy for the tongue to say, but they are very heavy in the balance and are very dear to The Beneficent (Allāh), and they are, 'Subḥāna-llāhi wa-bi-ḥamdih' and 'Subḥāna-llāhi l-ʿaẓīm.'" [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6406]

The Israeli occupation forces launched an airstrike in the Gaza Strip killing one child and injuring several others, despite a ceasefire agreement currently in place. The terrorist regime has also been launching airstrikes and drone attack in Jenin, in the West bank resulting in the death of at least 5 Palestinians.

Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه‎: Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said, "There is a compulsory Ṣadaqah (charity) to be given for every joint of the human body (as a sign of gratitude to Allāh) everyday the sun rises. To judge justly between two persons is regarded as Ṣadaqah, and to help a man concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride it or by lifting his luggage on to it, is also regarded as Ṣadaqah, and (saying) a good word is also Ṣadaqah, and every step taken on one's way to offer the compulsory prayer (in the mosque) is also Ṣadaqah and to remove a harmful thing from the way is also Ṣadaqah." [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2989]

O Allah, your forgiveness is greater than my sins, and my hope in your mercy far exceeds the hope I have in my good deeds

U.S President Donald Trump singed an executive order to cancel student visas and deport non-citizen college students who took part in pro-Palestinian protests, as part of a pledge to combat ‘anti-semitism’.

It was narrated by Tamīm al-Dārī رضي الله عنه‎ that the Prophet ﷺ said: “The first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is complete, then the voluntary (prayers) will also be recorded for him (as an increase). If it is not complete then Allāh will say to His angels: ‘Look and see whether you find any voluntary prayers for My slave, and take them to make up what is lacking from his obligatory prayers.’ Then all his deeds will be reckoned in like manner.” [Sunan Ibn Mājah 1426]

Indeed, Allāh showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allāh’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace. [Sūrah al-ʾAḥzāb, Verse 56]

🚨 Five people have been arrested in connection with the shooting of Salwan Momika, who was known for publicly burning copies of the Qurʾān. Salwan Momika, a terrorist who was the leader of a militia group that was being accused war crimes in Iraq, fled to Sweden seeking asylum. Momika gained noteriety after he began burning copies of the Qurʾān in publicy and made derogatory anti-islamic remarks. It is beleived he used the Qurʾān burning events to grift for donations amongst right-wing extremists, and also use the hate he received as an excuse to receive asylum in Sweden. Sweden's migration agency previously said it wanted to deport Momika due to false information on his application for residency but that the order would not be carried out because he was at risk of torture in his home country. The shooting was reportedly caught on video during a livestream on TikTok.

🚨 Salwan Momika, a terrorist from Iraq who used to publicly burn copies of the Qurʾān was shot dead in Sweden, during a livestream on TikTok. Momika was a refugee in Sweden and publicly burnt copies of the Qurʾān several times in public, under police protection. An investigation in to Momika’s past revealed he was the leader of a Christian militia in Iraq that was known for committing war crimes, but fled the country after disputes with the leader of Ryan al-Kildani, the "Babylon" political party.
