💫 Sayyid al-Istighfār: The Best Prayer for Seeking Forgiveness Narrated Shaddād ibn Aws رضي الله عنه: The Prophet (ﷺ) said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allāh is: اللهم أنت ربي، لا إله إلا أنت ، خلقتني وأنا عبدك، وأنا على عهدك ووعدك ما استطعت أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت أبوء لك بنعمتك علي، وأبوء بذنبي، فاغفر لي فإنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت The Prophet (ﷺ) added. "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise." [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6306] Transliteration: Allāhumma anta rabbī, lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa-anā ʿabduk, wa-anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā’istaṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayy, wa-abūʾu laka bidhanbī, fa’ighfir lī, fa-innahu lā yaghfir al-dhunūba illā ant Translation: O Allāh, You are my Lord, there is no God but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise (to honour it) as best as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely none can forgive sins but You.

The world’s foremost body of genocide scholars has formally declared that Israel is carrying out genocide in Gaza. After nearly two years of war crimes and systematic atrocities, the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) passed a resolution affirming that Israel’s actions meet the legal definition of genocide under the UN convention. Spanning three pages, the resolution outlines a catalogue of Israeli policies and practices during the 22-month war, which the IAGS recognises as genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. The IAGS, the world’s largest professional association of genocide scholars and home to many leading Holocaust experts, held a vote in which 28% of its 500 members participated. Of those, 86% supported the resolution. The declaration underscores Israel’s deliberate assault on the systems essential for survival, citing widespread attacks on healthcare, humanitarian aid, and educational infrastructure and personnel.

🚨 The occupation forces claim to have assassinated Abū ʿUbayda, the spokesperson of the resistance, in an airstrike that killed and injured dozens of civilians. The Resistance forces have not confirmed his death.

Reminder: Tomorrow is Monday. The Prophet ﷺ used to fast on Mondays. Abū Qatāda al-Anṣārī رضي الله عنه reported that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ was asked about fasting on Monday, whereupon he said: It is (the day) when I was born and revelation was sent down to me. [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1162e]

Türkiye has announced new measures against Israel, escalating its stance over the genocide in Gaza. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told parliament on Friday that Israeli vessels will no longer be allowed to dock at Turkish ports, while Turkish ships are barred from entering Israeli ports. He also confirmed restrictions on certain Israeli aircraft entering Turkish airspace. Fidan did not provide extensive details, but his remarks indicate that these steps either build upon or formalise measures Türkiye has already taken in response to Israel’s actions in Gaza. Ankara has been one of the most vocal critics of Israel’s ongoing offensive, accusing it of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, a charge Israel rejects. Türkiye has halted all trade with Israel, urged international sanctions, and called on world powers to end their support for Tel Aviv. These latest restrictions signal Türkiye is determined to maintain pressure on Israel, both diplomatically and economically, as the genocide continues.

The protests aren’t just about allowances or outsourcing. It’s about justice. It’s about ordinary Indonesians saying enough is enough.

In Terengganu, Malaysia, Muslim men who miss Friday prayers without a valid reason now face penalties under the Shariah Criminal Offences (Takzir) Enactment 2016, which has come into effect. Offenders risk fines of up to RM3,000 (about $640 USD), imprisonment for up to two years, or both. State Information, Preaching and Shariah Empowerment Exco Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi explained that previously, penalties applied only to those who missed three consecutive Friday prayers. Under the new ruling, however, missing even a single Friday prayer without valid reason can now be punishable. He emphasised, “This reminder is important because Friday prayers are not only a religious symbol but also an expression of obedience among Muslims. Punishment will only be imposed as a last resort, if repeated reminders are ignored by those who neglect this obligation.”
