Most of the time, the Spirit of the Lord is whisper quiet, gentle. But, every once in awhile the Lord speaks to us in multiple ways consecutively that gets you to sit up and take notice! [I'm posting the items below]
The Lord is so patient with our growing in understanding and knowledge of Him. (Thank you Heavenly Father for Your serene presence, steady hand and sense of humor!)
Sometimes it feels like I'm going along at a snail's pace with my spiritual maturity (thanks cookie dough brain!) then BAM! a crisis will catapult my journey to new levels of understanding and appreciation for my Creator.
Last winter I experienced firsthand in a mighty way the power of Jesus that flows through me after the toughest physical and spiritual battle I ever went through.
We are the sons and daughters of the Most High! And with that position in Creation we are expected by our Heavenly Father (and it's understood by all the heavenly beings) to exercise this authority in the name of Jesus!
Understand this, believe this, apply this! Your life will be changed spectacularly!

I'm not endorsing it or rejecting it as I am still perusing. Just wanted to pass along in case you wanted to keep tabs, too 🙂

Good news/kinda-sorta bad news concerning Telegram
The good news is Telegram launched an “aggressive anti-spam” algorithm yesterday. I got it activated and have seen it kick-in already.
The kinda-sorta bad news is that legit posts may get flagged, and I’m stuck in a Telegram loop trying to get one such post reinstated.
I appreciate your patience as the admins and I work on making the channel run smooth(er) 🙂

Yesterday was such a lovely day and I went to bed with a smile tucked in my heart. Thank you again for the sweet sentiments!
Above is the cake I made. Chocolate, with vanilla-almond icing with crushed peppermint. And an elephant because I adore them.
Blessings to all!

Hello sweet friends – The above question is from someone who needs to feel the love of Christ; and we are called to be a source of this godly love on earth. There is no offense because as 1 Peter 4:8 tells us, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
Perhaps you too have encountered hostile attitudes and snarky retorts. Goodness knows the anger has grown over the last couple of years –understandably so. I need to remember that others sometimes lash out because they are hurting in some capacity, and so I must continue to ask God to gentle my tongue.
Grace was extended to me; I can extend it to others as well.
Be His peace on earth.

Q: I’m glad your husband is back to normal. There are too many who lost their loved ones so I don’t think you get to feel sad. Why should I pay attention to what you have to say about all this when he survived and others didn’t?
A: Thanks for reaching out. I hope I address an issue that troubles you.
I don’t know how long you’ve been following the channel, but if you’ve done so for awhile then you know I simply share my thoughts in the hopes someone can relate to what I’m articulating and feel encouraged after visiting. I live normally and share authentically.
Sadness is what I feel for the millions of people who have been deceived, and have been treated inhumanely. I also feel anger and pray for patience while waiting for God’s justice to be administered.
In no way am I celebrating or marketing an anniversary of when tragedy touched our family. I am acknowledging what took place this time last year because I cannot deny what happened, or brush it off, and I wish to acknowledge the faithful friends who prayed for us. It’s also a way to point to the Great Healer, to give testament to His works, to glorify God publicly.
There’s much to our situation that hasn’t been shared. Some of this is due to the intimacy of details or people involved, and because the Lord hasn’t given me permission to speak of certain things.
What I can share with you is that I will never forget the terror that gripped me. I have no doubt it will lessen, but I cannot forget the horrors I witnessed. My husband’s survival doesn’t automatically remove the hellish conditions I walked through. And it doesn’t eradicate the health issues we still face.
For almost four months straight I had to bottle up, shut up, put up, keep up. It takes a toll. The mental, emotional and physical stress was almost unbearable at times. The spiritual battle was just as intense.
As I shared with a friend recently, I wish Felix wasn’t the catalyst for me deepening my relationship with the Lord; but I have to trust that He has a plan and purpose for Felix. I’m surrendered to however God wants to use our experience.
Guilt is something that can easily overtake us if we allow the enemy a foothold. Its deception will only lead to more pain and confusion, and it can place a wall between us and our loving Father. I must reject ungodly guilt and accept the gift of life.
Hearts are burdened for those who lost loved ones, whether it was by protocols and mandates or for those separated due to politics. There are so many hurting people out there, and the only way we recover is by the power of Jesus. Christ followers need to apply this power, edify one another, and follow God wholly.
Being obedient to God’s call for my life is important to me. There are countless times I stumble, I get it wrong, I miss out. With His grace, His pointed direction, His patience, I hope to make Him smile.

Every once in awhile I receive a direct message with a little snark to it. Not a big deal. I usually respond and move on with my life relatively unperturbed.
This recent one however I think is worth sharing because it highlights the need to keep praying for those whose anger masks their hurt. I admire their courage to allow me to share.
