Q: Do you think ____________ is grifting? What about the channel ____________ ? A: What is grifting? Or better yet, what does grifting mean to you? To me, grifting means a person or organization is deliberately snookering their audience. They are misguiding them with words and promises they have no intention of fulfilling. I see nothing wrong with a person or an organization asking for donations, or with them having affiliations that allows them to earn a little money. If you like their work, like their efforts and you feel comfortable doing so then make a donation or buy their merchandise. If you’re not comfortable that’s fine, too, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that person is grifting. The meaning of grifting has been twisted, in my humble opinion, by some with an audience they can influence. Some of the ones who eagerly fling an accusation turn around and solicit for themselves! Some of the folks in this are genuine and upfront. They work hard providing useful information or they give us encouragement. They have fees and out of pocket expenses. For some of them, it’s how they make a living. I’d like to think that if I decided to publish –as in an actual hold-in-your-hands publication– I wouldn’t be called a grifter! I would encourage my friends to go to the Lord with any concerns you have. After all, He may be the One Who is instructing a so-called grifter to write or create.

I thought of an easy, fun name then decided to draw the little happy face as the avatar. Q: Why don’t you change your channel name? A: Why do I need to do that? I’m glad it’s been the same name and same smiley face since I first started the channel. Hopefully it shows my friends that I am little ol’ me, reliable and comfy in my own skin. I’m probably the only Telegram account that is “Benjamin Buttoning,” but I have no plans to change just to keep the count from going backwards. I do my best to post what the Lord instructs. If it’s worthy, helpful and hopeful, He gets the glory. If it’s quirky, it’s my goofballness.

Q: I’m worried about who is going to replace Biden… Do you think Michelle Obama or Gavin Newsom will be running for POTUS? A: I’m absolutely not worried. At all. These vainglorious despots wanted to ride his curtails for their own gain or to advance an evil agenda. They deserve to be stuck with his incompetency. I think it’s possible we’ll see these flibbertigibbets (they are not smart) try to unhitch themselves from President Asterisk, but guess what?! He is their albatross! I have my doubts about Michelle stepping in, but if they try to install him, let the reveal begin! They can also try with Newsom, but it won’t fly, in my humble opinion. I think they tried to get Nancy in, but suspect there was some politicking (ie blackmailing going on there) that kept her from attaining the position. Since Trump mentioned this, I’m trying to figure out when the 25th Amendment will come into play. But, I don’t spend a lot of time on it. Appreciating life, loving my family, working on my relationship with the Lord –these are what I concentrate on the most. Though it’s gonna be fun watching them scramble then realizing they are stuck with him!

Q: Who do you think will be the VP pick? A: I do not know. It might be fun to speculate, but not something to be concerned about, in my humble opinion. This time around Trump will pick someone who is in lockstep with his policies, someone who shares the same vision for Americans. Let’s just be surprised together! Until then we keep praying, prepping and praising!

A: No. I really do believe her heart is for her fellow Arizonians, and she will work for them at this time. Q: … Nikki Haley? A: Absolutely not.
