PRAYER Heavenly Father, how great is the grace that keeps us. You chose us. You redeemed us. You called us by Your Spirit, and You have not let us go. Not one promise You have made has ever failed, and not one ever shall. We praise You. We see clearly the battle for human life, for family, for truth in our land. We will not look away from it. But we will not fear it either, for Your purposes are not shaken by what shakes us, and Your plans are not slowed by what slows us. So fill us, Father, with the calm that comes not from everything being easy, but from knowing You. Let Your peace, the peace that passes all understanding, guard our hearts. Let Your joy, which no week can take, rise in us. And let hope overflow, for Yours does not disappoint. Forgive us, Father, where we have fallen short. And grant us, we pray, the strength to meet every responsibility You have placed before us in the week ahead, that our daily lives reflect Your grace and truth.
