You will learn the most relevant shibari knots, and we'll practice the art of giving consent, how to honor boundaries, and explain physical safety. We will provide inputs about tantra, dominance, and submission and give small demonstrations to stimulate your inspiration. There will be a lot of room for play and exploration.

Shibari is the traditional Japanese art of bondage.
In this workshop we focus on the dynamics of trust in relationships and interpersonal connections. Exercises and discussions aim to build trust and explore vulnerability. The workshop provides a supportive environment to explore trust and identify personal barriers. Through the ropes and the body, we aim to regain trust in life.
We will learn knot tying techniques and focus on connection, consent, breath, movement and presence.
There is no nudity or sexuality in the workshop.
Individuals or couples/friends are welcome. No previous experience is required.

| 6 | SUSPENSION SHIBARI WORKSHOP
Focus: Full Suspension
- suspension tying techniques
- physical & emotional safety
- switching roles if desired
Investment: 150CHF per person (small group)
We learn the art of flying in shibari. We will learn tying techniques, which enables us to lift the body completely off the ground. There will be a lot of emphasis on physical and emotional safety, both for the rigger and the model. The class will be quite technical, to ensure that everyone understands how the rope behaves when there is a lot of weight and friction.
You need to have personal experience and know the basics. I can send you a tutorial previously so that you can refresh it at home.
You should also have experience with partial suspension. If you don't have experience with partial suspension or need a repetition, there is the possibility to come 30min earlier to the workshop and I show you the techniques privately. Instead of 150chf, the workshop fee is 170chf.
If you are not sure, whether you are qualified to attend, please send me a private message.
There will be only space for 4 couples to provide as much support and safety and as possible. Ideally you come with a friend or partner, but you can also join as an individual and we make the pairs on the spot.
If you have shibari ropes, please bring them along. If you don't have any, I am happy to provide you some or you can also buy some on the spot.
This workshop is not listed officially on the website. Just confirming via text message is enough. Still, the same cancellation policy applies: full refund 10 days ahead, 50% refund over 5 days ahead, no refund less than 5 days ahead.

You will be guided through tantric exercises to deeply connect with your own essence and others. Elements such as massage, conscious touch, sound and movement will be part of this journey.
The workshop emphasizes the importance of consent and conscious touch and encourages participants to stand up for their boundaries and express their desires.

The high quality jute shibari ropes arrived!
These traditional shibari ropes have the standard length of 8m.
They are conditioned and have an overhand knot at both ends. The rope is washed and hung with tension. It is mechanically broken (by hand) to make it more supple. It is flamed to remove sharp fibers. Then they are oiled for a smooth and soft touch.
There are different types of natural jute ropes available.
