🏙 Tasnim, a media outlet close to the IRGC, reported that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s contact with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff in New York was not authorized by Iran’s policymaking bodies, including the Supreme National Security Council.

🏙 According to Bloomberg, the DOJ is examining whether Binance turned a blind eye to transactions linked to Iran, potentially violating Washington’s sanctions.

🖤 Allegations that some Chinese companies used Binance accounts to transfer money related to purchases and sales of Iranian oil

🇬🇧 The Bank of England kept interest rates unchanged at 3.75%, with a 6–3 vote.
📌 More notably, the BoE decided to: Stop selling long-dated bonds
📈 The bond market rallied immediately, with UK 30-year yields falling by around 12 bps, while also helping ease the broader rise in global bond yields.

🇯🇵 The Bank of Japan raised rates by 25 bps, bringing the policy rate to 1.25% — the highest level since 1995.
