Hi Friends, We are in process of establishing a Finance Centre of Excellence in Bangalore. Presently, we have two positions opened- Senior Finance Manager and Accounts Payable Manager. 1- Senior Finance Manager A Chartered Accountant with around/more than 10 years of post-qualifications experience in Global accounting and reporting platform. Job Description: Partner with the CFO/ Head of Finance to build and foster an effective Finance centre of excellence within India, Bangalore, covering financial reporting and tax compliance across all companies within the group, spanning Singapore, Malaysia, India, Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia and some pacific island countries. Be a lead liaison for Audit. Own and lead the Finance reporting and tax calendar, ensuring activities are appropriately planned and monitored by the Entity Controllers. Own the administration and strategic application of groups general ledger and consolidation system, Navision and Lucanet respectively. Embed an effective partnership model with Tax advisors to ensure in-country compliance. Put in place business processes, capture of cost drivers, monitoring and governance, to support periodic reporting and execution. Own and drive TP in-country compliance by way of ensuring appropriate contemporaneous documentation in place. Lead a mid-sized team of finance professionals, providing financial control oversight, by effectively managing operational handoffs with all relevant outsourced service providers. 2- Accounts Payable Manager A finance professional under any discipline with 10+ years of experience in AP function (at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity). A tech-savvy (preferable) who believes in implementing smart tools for process improvement. Job Description: Review vendor invoices & expense claims submitted in Certify to ensure their accuracy. Lead vendor balance reconciliation and query resolution tasks. Ensure the vendor master including bank details is up to date and correct .Lead the call back procedure with vendors if required .Work with entity controllers to ensure accounting of vendor invoices in system. Review list of overdue & priority invoices and advise entity controllers for payment processing. Review the invoice trackers submitted to avoid duplicate payments. Ensure that vendor invoices are paid as per signed contract terms and conditions. Lead data clean-up activities for existing vendors in system as applicable. Keep the system up to date through regular updates on GL codes, project codes, cost centres etc. Support entity controllers in external audits of legal entities and be one-point contact on AP matters. Continuously review AP process, identify risks and implement controls for a risk-free environment. Search for smart solutions like AI, automation tools available in market to improvise the AP process. Cut down non-value adding activities through effective planning and improvement initiatives. Maintain a collaborative partnership within organisation to perform AP tasks seamlessly. Ensure supporting documentation to substantiate various AP transactions or tasks. Partner with cross functions for assigned team tasks or projects.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned . We do prefer candidates with short notice period.
