✅Update regarding IRMSE- Dated 31.1.2023 ⚠️GIST : IRMSE ( technical posts)- stands cancelled as of now. 🅾️Brief context : Indian railways used to recruit through UPSC CSE and Engineering services for technical posts. 🅾️However due to restructuring of the railways- the generalists posts were clubbed as IRMS- added in UPSC 2022 🅾️The technical services, as announced by the Govt were to be taken through IRMSE- this is the notification from the government dated 2.12.2022 🅾️On 12th Dec, Rules were notified and everyone expected a separate exam for these technical services- How and when?- This was expected in the UPSC CSE notification However as per this latest order( don't ask me why- not sure), the order stands repealed and the CSE notification only talks about IRMS nothing about IRMSE - So if you wish to get into technical services of railways- there is no exam as of now ( at least in my understanding)- maybe UPSC will come up with a clarification soon.

Notification doesn't have any clarification regarding IRMS. Hope upsc will provide corrigendum regarding the same soon.
