DONATION PLATFORM FOR CLIENTS
🫶 Have clients who are in need of essential items, but need a lil help purchasing them? Some folks from Open Government Products started https://kampungspirit.gov.sg/, a place where people can chip in $$ to buy things like rice cookers, washing machines, milk/diapers etc for households in need of them.
🦋 Items are listed by social workers, with some information on the clients' story and why they need the item.
❗KampungSpirit is looking for more social workers who have clients in need of essential items, to list these items on the platform & get connected with donors!
Think of it as an alternative to Pass It On, except:
- it’s faster to get the item (1-3 days max) 💨
- the items are brand new ✨
- the platform manages the fulfilment—you don’t need to do any coordination! 😴
❓️Have any clients who need help? Submit requests at https://go.gov.sg/kampungspirit-new-listing!
📫 If you don’t see your organisation on the list, just email kampungspirit@open.gov.sg requesting for your org to be whitelisted!
😙 P.S. Here’s what other social workers had to say about working with KampungSpirit:
