📢 A Historic Service to Humanity From June 12–15, Ambo University Referral Hospital, in collaboration with Cure Blindness, provided free cataract removal surgeries to community members across West Shewa. During this life-changing campaign, Student Union volunteers proudly served elderly patients with compassion, dedication, and respect. They offered support, guidance, and care, helping make the program a success. The most powerful moment was witnessing patients open their eyes and see the world clearly again. Their smiles, tears of joy, and heartfelt blessings reminded us that true success is not measured by what we gain for ourselves, but by the positive difference we make in the lives of others. To all volunteer students: you did more than give your time—you gave hope. You did more than serve—you helped restore sight. You did more than participate—you became part of a story that will forever be remembered in the hearts of those whose lives were changed. The blessings of the elderly, the gratitude of families, and the happiness you helped create are rewards far greater than any certificate or recognition. ❤️ Service to humanity is the greatest achievement. This week, you proved that Ambo University students are not only educated minds but also compassionate hearts. 🙏 Thank you for serving. Thank you for inspiring. 📢 Notice Non-cafeteria students (Freshman Natural Science) who have been asking about this month's allowance are informed that the payment will be calculated and released based only on the number of days you stayed on campus.

📢 Notice to Health Science Students Questions have been raised regarding the campus clearance schedule. According to the responsible office, all students will be cleared for the International Entrance Examination by Sene 20. Some departments may, however, complete their clearance earlier depending on their internal arrangements. Students are advised to stay updated through their departments and complete all required procedures on time. Students' Union

Ethiopian Health Professions Students Association – Ambo Branch The Association is pleased to announce the upcoming election of new Executive Leaders for the following positions:           President           Vice President           General Program Director           General Secretary            Finance Head All health science students who wish to compete for these positions are invited to prepare in accordance with the eligibility requirements. Eligibility Criteria 1. Must be health science student. 2. Must submit an essay that clearly expresses personal vision, values, and motivation. 3. Must have leadership experience, at minimum having served as a class representative or in a similar role. 4. Must deliver a short presentation on the day of the election. Day of election in coming 3 to 4 days we will announce you exact day soon. Candidates who wish to compete in the election are kindly requested to report through TG account below.
