Global Commodity Market Heatmap Global markets showed a mixed but broadly positive tone. U.S. equities gained, with the Nasdaq 100 (+0.47%), S&P 500 (+0.25%), and Dow Jones (+0.14%) closing higher, while Japan’s Nikkei 225 surged over 1%. Energy markets were strong as WTI crude oil (+2.55%), Brent crude (+2.12%), gasoline, heating oil, and natural gas all advanced. Among metals, copper and platinum rose, but gold fell 0.85% and silver was nearly flat. The U.S. dollar strengthened slightly, and bond prices weakened, indicating higher Treasury yields. Overall, risk sentiment remained positive, supported by gains in equities, energy, and industrial metals.
