Am 26. September 1939 wurde der Widerstand in Warschau vernichtent geschlagen.
Polnische bzw. BRD Geschichte stellt diese Zerschlagung als ein weiteres Kriegsverbrechen Deutschlands dar und lässt kritische Ereignisse und Abläufe wiedermal außen vor.
Deutschland versuchte mehrfach die Stadt und seine Bewohner zu verschonen. Parlamentäre, Aufforderungen zu Verhandlungen, Radioansprachen und Flugblätter wurden eingesetzt, um die Stadt nicht militärisch angreifen zu müssen.
Alle Vorschläge und Möglichkeiten wurden, genau wie vor dem 1. September 1939, von den polnischen Entscheidungsträgern abgelehnt oder ignoniert. Nichts davon findet Verbreitung in offizieller Geschichtsschreibung.
