Q & A on Test Series 5. Sir I had a doubt how many subjective and full tests will be there in OLD ACE Leader Test Series? A-Leader OTS was having-25 sectional + 5 Full syllabus tests. All these tests are now free with ACE-2022 Test series. 6. I have already bought 2022 Test series, now why is there still OLD Test series showing to buy in my account. A-Donot worry about the old test series package... as you have bought 2022 Test series, now all the old leader series tests (30)are already uploaded in your test series only... This year we are giving these tests free to those students who buy 2022 test series. If any student only want to buy the old test series without buying the new one for those we have kept that separate package. Donot worry about that. Old test series is Leader OTS , all of its tests are already uploaded in new test series. 7. I need to know the fee structure with the test series and the recorded,live classes ? 4. Is there any relevance for taking test series because we do not know that ongc will recruitment or not ? A- See, GATE exam is not just for ONGC. It gives you a broad specturm, it gives you an opportunity to apply for Research, Join IIT for higher studies, join teaching job based on your interest temporarily or permanently. Test series is for testing your own knowledge over your B.Tech subjects. Preparation for GATE, will also be helpful in your college placement in core petroleum companies as well. If you are willing to get recruited only in a petroleum company, then test series questions & concepts can be helpful before you appear for those companies exams, oncampus/offcampus... and about ONGC, we hv not yet got their advt about recruitment.. and ONGC will always do recruitment via GATE or via an EXAM...for its exam also test series will be helpful.. But its totally up to you only, how you think of it, use your own wisdom.

Sir, this year gate exam will be possible? -GATE Exam is conducted in Online mode & it will take place in 2022, but due to corona dates can be shifted ahead, GATE committee should inform about registration on August, about any decision regarding GATE in upcoming months.. If you are preparing for GATE, keep in mind that in a regular trend GATE follows like this- GATE Registration -Aug-Oct Admit card-First week of Jan Exam-First week of Feb Result-Second-third week of March. So, make proper plan accordingly.

2. Sir what are the other opportunities for "Petroleum Engineers" from GATE other than ONGC.? A-Following opportunities after a good GATE score other than ONGC -PSU-OIL Exam -M.Tech with scholarship (with GATE score card valid upto 3 years) -M.Tech itself is having benefits- a-MHRD projects- actively involving in projects with your mentors at IITS. b-Research Fellowships from IITS b-study abroad-with IIT recommendation and foreign universities tie ups with IITS. c-Teaching Job, with decent salary -Research Intern/Fellow- You can check for any research vaccancies in various institutes & research labs under CSIR. -Apply in pvt companies- They know the value of knowledge, sale your petroleum skills mentioning ur GATE score. Mail CV. -Directly apply for teaching job in PVT colleges- If you are having a good GATE score, that reflects you r having a good knowledge over subject. you can directly send ur CVs to pvt colleges, mentioning it. And if you r willing to prepare for exam in future you can do so with job in parallel as well.

Now what management can do: 1-Recruit only through-GATE-2020, as they hv not notified about recruitment through GATE2021. But guys, they have not notified about recruitment through GATE2021, because they hv to take decision on how will they recruit GATE2020 toppers before that. 2-Recruit through-GATE-2020+2021 together, as we hv got no official order on how will they recruit GATE 2021 candidates 3-Withdraw recruitment through GATE2020 & recruit conducting an ONGC EXAM for all- As in above RTI you see they have mentioned they have not decided to withdraw the recruitment through-GATE2020, that means they can consider that option too. If you remember, before 2016 ONGC used to recruit through ONGC Exam. They have conducted those exams before and they can think of this option as well. Those exams had questions related to general Petroleum Engineering with English, CA and aptitude. 4. GATE recruitment Conducting an Online interview-This is also possible considering the current scenario of pandemic. Now its upto them what decision they will take, this can only be clear after any official statement or order from ONGC only. Students are already posting everywhere in social media about it.. & somewhere management is also noting all this, but higher management is already busy to deal with serious covid related issues within the organization. We have to wait. We can only hope that they do justice with all the toppers of GATE2020 & 2021 as well. They should soon declare the vacancies and recruitment notice.

Q & A 1. Many questions regarding ONGC.. Will ONGC recruit this year. Whom it will recruit-2020 or 2021 GATE candidates. How will it recruit? Will they conduct ONGC Exam.? A-In some RTI responses ONGC officials hv already said that recruitment schedule has not finalised yet but they hv also mentioned that they hv not taken any decision on withdrawn recruitemnt through 2019 adv. yet. Now for recruitment through GATE-2021 they have not yet notified. Dont know whether u know the condition of regular on-off employees at various asset amid covid in organisation. ONGC management was not mentally prepared for Covid challenge... They r now busy there too, but they are doing their best. And secondly, retirement of employees is going on every year. So, there are accumulated vacancies within, that they will require to fill. So, recruitment will definitely take place.
