KEPENTINGAN MENGKAJI DAN MENELITI SEJARAH UMAT TERDAHULU
1. Dapat mengenal pasti sebab kejayaan umat terdahulu
Contoh 1 : Nabi Yusuf a.s
Sebab kejayaan : Menyimpan bekalan semasa musim menuai atas nasihat Nabi Yusuf a.s
Akibat : Selamat menghadapi kemarau panjang selama 7 tahun
Contoh 2 : Thalut dan tenteranya
Sebab kejayaan : Mempunyai kelebihan ilmu pengetahuan dan tubuh badan yang kuat
Akibat : Dapat menewaskan tentera Jalut yang ramai
2. Dapat mengetahui sebab kemusnahan umat terdahulu
Contoh 1 : Kaum Thamud ( umat Nabi Soleh a.s )
Sebab kemusnahan : Bersifat angkuh dan menuduh Nabi soleh pendusta
Akibat : Dibinasakan dengan petir dan gempa bumi yang dahsyat
Contoh 2 : Kaum Luth ( umat Nabi Luth a.s )
Sebab kemusnahan : Ingkar perintah Allah SWT dengan mengamalkan homoseksual
Akibat : Dibinasakan dengan diterbalikkan bumi mereka
3. Dapat dijadikan iktibar dalam kehidupan dengan berpegang teguh pada akidah yang benar dan berakhlak mulia.
KESAN MEMAHAMI SUNNATULLAH
- Meyakini setiap yang berlaku dalam kehidupan mengikut ketetapan dan kehendak Allah SWT Yang Maha Bijaksana.
- Menerima ketetapan Allah SWT dengan hati yang terbuka dan bersikap positif.
- Membentuk jati diri dan semangat jihad yang tinggi dalam mendepani cabaran kehidupan.
- Merancang strategi dengan teliti dalam setiap tindakan untuk mencapai kejayaan.
PENGAJARAN AYAT
1. Kita hendaklah menjadi pengembara di muka bumi supaya dapat mengetahui dan menyelidiki sunnatullah.
2. Kita hendaklah mengkaji dan menyelidiki sejarah umat terdahulu agar menjadi pedoman dalam kehidupan.
3. Kita hendaklah sentiasa menjaga keimanan agar mendapat kedudukan yang tinggi di sisi Allah SWT.
