BIM UNIT MECHANICAL REVIT TEST: • Open new project using MECHANICAL-DEFULT METRIC template. • Then insert the architecture file (origin to origin) from the Default Path (////). • Use Copy/ Monitor for Levels and grids form the Architecture link. • Create Ceiling Plans and put them under Discipline MECHANICAL. • Distribute 4 diffusers from the type 600x600 from family M-supply-diffuser Recessed supply-diffuser.rfa inside any room. • change the type name to 250x250 in 02-floor. • Create new type under name 350x350, and Distribute another 4 diffusers from the type linear slot from family M-supply-slot inside room kitchen. • Create supply duct system. • Then insert inside the room (reception) FCU family M_FCU.RFA and change the name of the family to M_FCU 36000BTU Connect the DUCT system and air outlets. • Tag ducts and others Create Floor Plans from and put them under Discipline MECHANICAL HVAC. • Create Air terminals Schedule. • Create Floor Plans and put them under Sub-Discipline named HVAC DUCT. • Create 2 Types for DUCT SYSTEM SUPPLY & RETURN. • Use Filter to give the Normal SUPPLY Green Colour, RETURN Red Colour. • Create 4 Worksets named as (HVAC AC, HVAC EX, HVAC PIPING, HVAC Equipment) and put every Elements on its proper workset. • e.g.: all EX DUCTS on workset HVAC EX, • Make this file a Central file. • Create local copy. • Create View template • Clash detection in Revit. • Create sheets. • Export (CAD & PDF). • Create shared parameter.

BIM UNIT ELECTRICAL REVIT TEST: • Open new project using ELECTRICAL-DEFULT METRIC template. • Then insert the architecture file (origin to origin) from the Default Path (////). • Use Copy/ Monitor for Levels and grids form the Architecture link. • Create Ceiling Plans and put them under Discipline Electrical. • Distribute 12 lighting fixtures from the type 600x600-120 from family M_Plain Recessed Lighting Fixture.rfa inside any master bed room, and change the • type name to 600x600-220 in 02-floor. • Create new type under name 1200x300-220, and Distribute another 12 lighting fixture inside room kitchen. • Create Distribution System 380/220. • Then host inside the room (reception) panel from type 40 A and family M_Lighting and Appliance Panelboard - 480V MLO and change the name of the family to M_Lighting and Appliance Panelboard - 380V MLO Make the panel name to be DP-S2 Connect the lighting fixtures into the panel. • Load wire tag and Create 2 Wire Types named as Normal Wire and Emergency wire. • Tag wires and show circuit number as (R.Y,B) and panel name. Create Floor Plans from and put them under Discipline Electrical. • Distribute 12 Sockets and connect to the same Panel, 6 inside the same above rooms. • Create Panel Schedule from the above Panel Board. • Create Floor Plans and put them under • Sub-Discipline named Cable Routing. • Create 2 Types for the Cable Tray 200*100 (Normal)and one cable trunk 100*100 and draw them in the View. • Use Filter to give the Normal CT Green Colour, cable trunk Red. • Create 4 Worksets named as (MAAP_Lighting MAAP_Power, MAAP_Cable Trays, MAAP Electrical Equipment) and put every Elements on its proper workset • e.g.: all Lighting Fixtures on workset MAAP_Lighting, • Make this file a Central file. • Create local copy. • Create View template • Clash detection in Revit. • Create sheets. • Export (CAD & PDF). • Create shared parameter.
