🕊️ A Statement to the Conscience of the World It is deeply painful and bewildering to witness a nation whose history is rooted in the trauma of racism and the Holocaust now inflicting such devastating suffering on others. How can such a legacy of pain not give rise to empathy and compassion, but instead lead to policies that result in the death of innocent children, mothers, and daughters? Where is the humanity that such suffering should have awakened? Surely not all Israelis support this violence — yet one must ask: Why are the voices of those who truly seek peace and justice so faint? Why are their protests against their leaders rarely heard by the world? .
