...- The dates for when the Germanic people held blóts changed annually according to the phases of the full moon. The original Jul is always celebrated on the full moon, after the new moon after the Winter Solstice. And Winter Nights is always 3 full moons before Jul. Calculation: Winter Solstice this year is December 21st. First new moon after Winter Solstice: 7th of January. Full moon after the new moon (after Winter Solstice): 22nd January (Jul). Count back three moons and that places Vetrnætr on October 26th, and Alvablot on the 24th of November. Winter Nights and the more famous Alvablot, is two separate blóts, and do not occur at the same time. Alvablot is a private gathering for family and relatives, which occurs on the next full moon in November. Honor your ancestors, you owe them everything. Pleasant and honourable Winter Nights ↟↟

↟ Vetrnætr – Winter Nights ↟ –one of the most important celebrations in the old heathen calendar. At today's full moon here in Sweden, Scandinavia – the ancient Germanic Old Norse tradition named Vetrnætr (Winter Nights) occurs. In the Ynglingasaga by Snorri Sturluson, a blót called Winter Nights is mentioned. The Winter Nights Blót is referred as the first blót of Odin, and occurs on this day, three full moons before our Heathen Yule (Jul). This blót marks the beginning of the winter half year, and is one of the most important celebrations in our old heathen calendar. Winter Nights blót is mainly dedicated to a good year ahead, as well as to the winter gods such as Ullr, Odin and Skaði. Now is the very starting point for the winter half year – the first day of winter. This blót lasts for three days, 26-29th of October, starting today: on the night of the full moon...- continues below ⬇️ Website: https://native-scandinavia.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/De9xMhVDD2s/?exln=MWh5bjE5dGNzMnhpdA==

🧵I think a lot of this hinges on the idea that the eddas are some kind of infallible measure for faith and practice. It's not. We know Christians tampered with the stories. That's what we have textual criticism for. Archaeology helps fill in some of the gaps. There are artifacts that depict scenes in Norse myth before the Christians wrote it down. We also have burial sites, which help us reconstruct their funeral rites. As to whether Norse paganism is "complete" - I don't think any faith in the world is, including Christianity. Every religion has unanswered questions about itself. It's only the Abrahamic religions who pretend to have all the answers. If you have a living faith, then it doesn't matter so much about what exactly people did in the past as much as what you do now. Pagans got along just fine without written texts. The gods are in your blood, not in books.

...- it was used for many different purposes such as gather troops, send messages, calm the sea and much more. Today this instrument is mostly used for fanfares at different events or inaugurations, but in some indigenous places in Dalarna it's still in use. Native Scandinavian from Sweden with the ancient traditional instrument called Näverlur 🇸🇪 Preserve your heritage, and remember who you are — it's in your blood.

↟ Preserve your heritage. Näverlur/Norse Hornblést (Birch Horn), is an ancient traditional Scandinavian instrument made of wood of fir and birch. The oldest Näverlur that has been found in Sweden can be dating back as far as 900s. Näverlur is associated with the old Scandinavian "fäbod-culture" where it was used to attract the animals to come home, scare predators, to keep evil forest creatures away (creatures form our Scandinavian folklore), and to send different messages to other villages over long distances. The sound from a Näverlur has the capacity to travel up to more than 5 kilometres! There are different melodies for different messages and it was usually women who used these horns. Each one could play in a unique melody that revealed whom or which village it came from. This type of instrument is also a common find in Scandinavian longships were...- continues in text below ⬇️ Website: https://native-scandinavia.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DezIL6xs9P4/?xtok=MXZsNWM1YTRuaHB3ag==

Oakwise Becoming is an ever-evolving state of understanding: of growing in eternal renewal, inspired by our Folk Soul - which we in turn fertilize for it's own growth with every action toward the health and longevity of our Folk. The White Stag symbolizes indigenous European ethno-spirituality, a guardian spirit, a protective and auspicious guide between the relams who will ever carry us back home if only we are willing to take the ride. Algiz signifies eternal renewal of our ancient Bloodlines. Othala for our sacred Holy Lands, the Soil of our ancient ancestral homelands. Oakwise Becoming is living process of eternal renewal. Are you willing to ride?

Imagine that I make a claim that you're conspiring by aligning against me for advocating for my people, and instead of proving my claim wrong by saying nobody is against you, go ahead and advocate, you align against me advocating for my people with a claim, it's a "conspiracy theory" that you're aligning against me advocating for my people.. That is exactly what's happening.

“Only people with children can care about the future” is only true from an Atheistic Abrahamic worldview. Remember, to the Romans Christianity was atheistic because it denied the reality of the plethora of deities that Romans understood, denied animism, denied ancestor veneration, denied reincarnation. — Don’t get me wrong, procreation is natural, normal, and healthy. It should be celebrated — which is why Paganism is inherently a FERTILITY celebrating worldview. But it is also TRIBAL. When you don’t give a rat’s ass about your race, your ethnicity, your tribe (and remember, the New Testament explicitly tells you NOT to for “all are one” under Yahweh), and you believe the soul only lives once before ascending into a virtual heroin coma eternity in a vegetative state dribbling in worship of Yah forever, then of course the future doesn’t matter to you. In fact, it is Christianity which emphasizes that “the Earth will pass away,” and endless verses promoting putting your eyes on the sky, like Chicken Little, instead of right here on MIDGARD - where it actually matters. Christianity (and Islam, Mormonism, etc) teach that the Earth is meaningless and our time here is only to prepare us for an imaginary future existence somewhere else. Ethnic Paganism is about the past, the present, and the endless cycles of LIFE ON EARTH. Our blood matters. Our lineages matter. The Earth matters. The lands our progenitors fought for and cultivated MATTER. Fighting to the death for BLOOD AND SOIL is a Pagan concept, point blank. Make babies if you can. But, if you haven’t or cannot for whatever reason, there are a myriad of ways you can support your ethno-tribe. And, with an indigenous Pagan worldview, you understand that your actions matter for the survival of OUR FOLK.

You ever notice how completely opposite Pagan and Christian epistemology are? The ancient pagans started off with some superstitions and used basic logic and reason to come to better conclusions. The Christians always start off with an advanced civilization handed to them and then devolve into sola fide YEC flat-earth nonsense. Paganism is regenerative. Christianity is degenerative.

Young Earth Creationism is Jewish. The idea of a young earth comes from the Hebrew calendar - which says that it's only been 5785 years after creation This is where both Christian and Muslim creationism come from The Pagans believed in an ancient, if not eternal, universe. https://x.com/coal_christian2/status/1972404850010071136

The mechanized view of the world would only become more intense with the onset of the Industrial Revolution in the first half of the nineteenth century. Now, not only was a mechanized world a philosophical view, but it was quickly becoming a literal reality. This swift technological transformation was for many cause for alarm. There was a real fear about where this new mechanical world would lead us, as evidenced in Mary Shelley’s famous novel, “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus,” -- which is not actually a Gothic horror story about a monster so much as an observation and stark warning for mankind about moving so quickly toward a scientific worldview that removed the soul from humanity.
