Is HTTPS its plural form? 🤷🏽‍♀️ 👉 Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is a medium that lets your browser communicate with servers through the exchange of data. 👉 Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is an extension of that, powered by Transport Layer Security (TLS), that – you probably guessed it by now – transfers data more securely by encrypting it. This fake email contains a link to a fake website phishing for the user’s email and password. We’ve worked with the relevant authorities to take down the website, but new ones can appear. We’d like to remind users to be vigilant: 1️⃣ Check that the web domain of the #Singpass website is singpass.gov.sg before entering your details! 2️⃣ The official Singpass Helpdesk email address is support@singpass.gov.sg. 📞 If you suspect that you have fallen prey to a phishing scam, please call the Anti-Scam Hotline at 1800-722-6688 or make an online report at 🔗 www.police.gov.sg/iwitness.
