"Western civilization is in real trouble, and we've lost the mechanisms of transmission, you might say, of the very fundamental principles and institutions of our civilization. And it's high time we did everything we could to get them back,” says Ralston College President Stephen Blackwood.

"Universities are far too much under the sway of a kind of ideological nihilism or neo-Marxism, which denies the existence of higher-order goods…truth, beauty, goodness, love, redemption, justice, this whole range of metaphysical realities…[that] give human life meaning."
“What that produces downstream is all kinds of corrosive and toxic effects: ugliness in architecture, partisan rancor and alienation in our political and civic life, a failure to tell the truth in journalism…"
- Ralston College President Stephen Blackwood

"The World Bank wants to own this [pandemic] fund. They want the money channeled through the World Bank - of course they do. And they want to grow, & they want to keep their staff employed, & they want their epistemic authority. And the WHO is vying for it too, but no donor trusts the WHO. So, they'll trust the World Bank because they feel like they have more control of it. And all of them are trying to move in the space so quickly to capture what they can get. And I was surprised by that, because that's political. That's not necessarily public health." - David Bell and Garrett Brown

"The way these things are being modeled, and then the way that the evidence is being presented, makes the existential threat seem immediate, increasing and more severe.
And yet, the data and the evidence that they cite say something opposite, which looks like a misrepresentation or an underrepresentation of what the true condition is that we're trying to address." - Garrett Brown and David Bell

A watchdog report found that ICE is unable to account for more than 32,000 unaccompanied children who failed to appear for court hearings. Another 291,000 simply did not receive notices at all.
How many of these children have fallen victim to traffickers?
Join me for this special LIVE crossover episode with NTD’s International Roundtable program, hosted by Cindy Drukier.
The two of us will be sitting down with Tara Rodas, Aaron Stevenson, and Mary Flynn O’Neill - three individuals who have been at the forefront of exposing child trafficking and demanding policy change.

There is an unprecedented child trafficking crisis in America today. Large numbers of migrant children are being released by the HHS to sponsors that are not thoroughly vetted, including individuals associated with dangerous criminal organizations like MS-13 and the 18th Street gang.
On this special LIVE episode, we dive into the child trafficking crisis with whistleblowers Tara Rodas and Aaron Stevenson and America Future’s Mary Flynn O’Neill.
How many children have fallen victim and what can the incoming Trump administration do to end this crisis?

"In California, we privilege anosognosia in the law. We make it legal to use drugs, legal to traffic drugs, legal to steal to support your habit, and you're allowed to lie down on the street and shoot wherever you want. And we'll give you the needles and the heroin.
And I just talked to a kid who was about 3 years off the street. He said every single helper that he met on the street that was giving him his needles and his heroin would pat him on the back and go, 'You're just a victim of capitalism. If we get communism in here, this will all go away.’” - Dr. Drew Pinsky

"A member of the school board came in & said, 'We're going to lock the schools down.'
And I said, 'Why? Why are you doing that?...Did an infectious disease doctor come in & say you've got to do this?'
'No, it's just the right thing to do.'
I knew then there was big trouble.
…There are some of us that can't get over COVID - not the virus - the way our country dealt with COVID. Just mind boggling. I felt like my world changed in March, 2020. I can't believe what happened."

China can make components of our medicines, ship them to, say, some plant in New Jersey, which then mixes it, compounds it, packages it, labels it to say "Made in the USA," and sells it to the Department of Defense.
This is legal, but only because of a loophole that must be fixed.
How has the US healthcare system become dependent on China for its medicine?
Join us for a deep dive tonight with Victor Suarez, a retired U.S. Army Colonel & founder of Blue Zone Bio.

"20% of active pharmaceutical ingredients are solely sourced from China. So, that means there's not even a secondary source in the world. And if you were to try to create a secondary source, you're now looking at—at best—six months or maybe years of lead time to build that secondary source," says Victor Suarez.
What components go into manufacturing our essential medicines? Where are they sourced? What countries are involved? What geopolitical risks does this pose to Americans?

What are recess appointments, why does Trump want them, and how do they work?
Former DOJ assistant attorney general Jeff Clark explains:
"The president has the power, if the Senate is in recess, to simply tap someone on the shoulder and decide that they will serve in office X.
…There is a time limit on such appointments, which is that they can serve until the next session." And the Senate recess must be 10 days or longer.
"What happens if the Senate does not want to go into recess but the House does?…If the houses disagree about the time of adjournment, then the President has the power to send them into recess for as long as he sees fit.
…This presidential adjournment clause power has never been used. However, it is plainly in the Constitution."

"They cannot defend the fact that for three weeks, Jewish students were being followed and intimidated and bullied on their way to class by encampment leaders who were living in tents on campus, calling for an Intifada, calling for the destruction of the Jewish state from the river to the sea.”
“Harvard knew about it, and they chose to do nothing about it. And that's why we'll win."
Shabbos Kestenbaum is suing Harvard and alleging the university failed to enforce both its own policies and federal law.

"I could tell you about the Jewish student who was spat on for wearing a kippah at Harvard. I could tell you about the Israeli student who was asked by the professor to leave her class because her nationality made others uncomfortable. I could tell you about the physical assault at Harvard Business School. I could tell you about the Harvard employee who vandalized our hostage posters, challenged me to debate him in an underpass as to whether Jews were behind 9/11, and then taunted me with a machete. That's just four incidents off the top of my head.
But most disturbingly, it became obvious that there is a double standard when it comes to how Harvard treats minority students and how they treat Jewish students."
Harvard alum Shabbos Kestenbaum is suing his alma mater for allegedly violating the Civil Rights Act.

“The Declaration of Independence, which was a transformative document, says that the human rights that are enumerated of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness are endowed by our Creator. They come from God.
And how do we know what values - what rights God thought should be endowed in every human being? From reading the Bible.
And so, people talk loosely about Judeo-Christian values, but they really are at the core of the American founding.
And where did those values come from? From where did they emerge? Where were they emitted?
Well, Isaiah tells us that out of Zion goes forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” - David M. Friedman, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

At Northern Schoolhouse, you won't find any modern children’s cartoons on the bookshelves, not even Dr. Seuss.
Instead, you'll find Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Robert Frost, and Mark Twain.
"We want to give the kids really hard, challenging things that are completely worthy of their time…It's hard, but actually those old texts, that's where the answer is. It's about going back into tradition, back into the humanities, and bringing those things out to the students," says principal Michael Fitzgerald.
"We can either enrich the students, edify their hearts and their souls, or we can entertain them. So the question is, do we want to edify or entertain?"

“This is the trend in education: ‘It doesn’t matter what you’re reading, as long as you’re reading.’"
But "I think it’s very important what you’re reading,” says Michael Fitzgerald. "Socrates says that the goal of education is to teach kids to identify what is beautiful. And so we have to give them beautiful things."
At Northern Schoolhouse, students start learning Shakespeare in first grade and engaging with ancient works of art like the School of Athens or paintings from the Song Dynasty from a young age.
"In the end, we want them becoming autonomous people who know how to move themselves well through the world, as truly good people who recognize beauty."

"The virology community, as a whole, seems to be hell-bent on making the public convinced that [COVID was] not a lab accident, publishing laughably horrible papers, when we have documentation of private conversations that the virologists were having when they were putting these papers out, and they're stating things in private that contradict papers that they're publishing at the same time. That's a problem." - Bryce Nickels

In the early days of the American republic, the President's cabinet nominations might be confirmed within a day by voice vote. Now the entire process can take many months or even a year.
So what happened? And what is this idea of recess appointments that Trump is pushing for? What are the legal and historical precedents for recess appointments? And how might Trump try to use them to bypass a Senate impasse?

Kim Jong Un is taking advantage of the Russia-Ukraine War as a "money-making operation," says Greg Scarlatoiu, President of the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea.
North Korea has a long history of involvement in foreign conflicts, he says.
"They flew against Israel in the Six Day War…In 1973, they flew alongside Egyptian pilots, again against Israel in the Yom Kippur War.…They dispatched North Korean pilots to the Vietnam War…[In] the Ethiopian-Eritrean war in the late 1990s, the North Koreans had troops, tanks, and tank crews fighting on the Ethiopian side. As recently as the Syrian civil war, they had special forces fighting alongside Assad's troops."
