Made in Russia 🇷🇺❤️ New Vostok watchface has been rolled out and available to download! Something interesting about it.. After the sinking of the Titanic, Radio Room Act appeared. This is the law that normalized communication on the radio. Following it, at least 2 professional radio operators were to be on duty around the clock in each radio room on land or on a ship. Every quarter of an hour they went into silence. So it was possible to clearly hear possible distress signals on different frequencies. An important point: according to the Act, all radio operators had to know when to switch to radio silence. The easiest way to do this turned out to be to create a clock whose watchface would show intervals of silence. As you can guess, the red lines on the watchface are such intervals.

Garmin has announced the next Developer Conference at 12th of October. At that day we will know about new features and options coming with the next generation of firmware. Hello again! Since some day this year I started getting lots of complaints on the EVV 455 watchface - they said it stopped working. It was a surprise for me as I didn't update the watchface since the Big Bang. Well, I think the reason is new firmware updates by Garmin with new memory limitations. Today I rolled out the update for this watchface and looks like the issue has been solved - I tested it with my watch. Those users who have already purchased a license will be able to keep it after the watch face becomes paid again. Q&A • Will other watchfaces by ERSHOVLAD become free? - I am considering various options. Hi again! Good news finally - you have waited it for ages! Garmin gave to the developers new tools for making their applications better: • New Metrics - current respiration value - current time to recovery - Body Battery info - stress info - the amount of battery remaining in days (before developers had to calculate it manually) - user’s running VO2 Max - user’s cycling VO2 Max • Updated App Settings It means that new App Settings allow you to expand lists of different options depending if you need them and hide if you don't • New Authentication Module You don't need to know much about it, but it looks like you won't need to wait 5 minutes to get the license status or OpenWeatherMap forecast anymore. Now the developer has the opportunity to get the info instantly. Below you can see the list of already supported devices and those of them who will get the support later. I hope to implement some of these features in the next watchface which is on progress now :)
