Hello and a warm good evening to our dear subscribers. As you must be knowing that CSE UPSC final results have been declared. Some of you may have been selected, some of you may not be selected. But friends let's not forget that putting the best fight from your side is the thing that matters. You are entitled to the karma itself but not it's fruit as it is beyond your control.Bhagwad Gita enunciates this philosophy. So,even you are selected or non-selected it is the humility in you that matters. No success and failure is permanent in life.Success and failure are events rather than the person itself. Just don't let your spirits being dampened whatever you may do.You are an army in yourself...and hence the show must go on. Regards Long live India, long live Indians and long live 'Dev Bhasha'.

कीर्तिः यस्य सः जीवति Those who have fame and are renowned are only alive. This is one of the famous Sanskrit sukti. Bottom line:One should always do good deeds in life.Good deeds leads to name and fame and even after death such a person remains alive in the hearts of others. Also, mere animal existence is of no utility and even after being alive if a person has not done anything for the welfare of all, such a person is equivalent to being dead.Life should be meaningful and there should be a sense of duty towards other citizen's. "Bhakti in religion may be a road to the salvation of the soul. But in politics, Bhakti or hero-worship is a sure road to degradation and to eventual dictatorship." Dr B. R. Ambedkar, in his last speech to the Constituent Assembly of India. This quote can be used in gs2 questions of democracy, good governance, constructive criticism of government,gs 4 questions of ethics in governance, probity in governance, accountability, transperancy and similar topics in the essay Long live India, long live Indians and long live 'Dev Bhasha'.

Our channel is the first-of-its-kind in the domain of UPSC that promotes the wisdom and knowledge embedded in our ancient texts. It has come to our notice a few intellectuals, with all due respect and no sarcasm intended are trying to spread the word that Sanskrit shlokas, dohas etc. are not much popular. So they are trying to discourage aspirants from writing. It's a humble request to you all don't fall prey to the wrong picture created by a few.Believe in yourself and trust your inner voice. As Gandhiji has beautifully said that " First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." We all shall not stop, though others may feel free to criticise us.We shall without being disrespectful shall counter that with our reasonable arguments. After all we belong to the land of Gandhiji. लघुता से प्रभुता मिले, प्रभुता से प्रभु दूरि। चींटी शकर ले चली, हाथी के सिर धूरि।। Being small gives you Godliness, being arrogant(feeling like God) takes you away from God. Ant due to its humiity gets sugar, but an arrogant elephant uses his trunk to sprinkle dust on its head. This doha is of Saint Kabir Das. Bottom line:Humility is needed in one's life.A humble person is liked by all and good things happen to them, just like the humble ant gets sugar. But the elephant, due to its ego of being powerful just gets dust on its head.So one should appreciate the quality of all living beings and respect them.Humility promotes learning and success in life depends on a large extent to one's attitude. This doha can be used in gs 4 questions of humility, success in life,life-long learning and similar topics in essay. Long live India, long live Indians and long live 'Dev Bhasha'.

समं पश्यन्हि सर्वत्र समवस्थितमीश्वरम् | न हिनस्त्यात्मनात्मानं ततो याति परां गतिम् || Those, who see God as the Supreme Soul equally present everywhere and in all living beings, do not degrade themselves by their mind. Thereby, they reach the supreme destination. This shloka is from Bhagwad Gita,Verse 29,Chapter 13. Bottom line:(The interpretation will be a bit long as this shloka has very deep meanings,so please have patience.)A good person sees God in all other living beings. They havecompassion, empathy and love for all other living beings. For them serving 'jiva' is serving the 'shiva'.Such a person doesn't discrimate on the basis of caste, religion, race or nationality. All human beings are equal in their eyes. The mind is pleasure seeking by nature and, being a product of the material energy, is spontaneously inclined to material pleasures. If we follow the inclinations of our mind, we become degraded into deeper and deeper material consciousness. The way to prevent this downslide is to keep the mind in check with the help of the intellect. For this, the intellect needs to be empowered with true knowledge. Those, who learn to see God as the Supreme Soul present in all beings, begin to live by this knowledge. They no longer seek personal gain and enjoyment in their relationships with others. They neither get attached to others for the good done by them, nor hate them for any harm caused by them. Rather, seeing everyone as a part of God, they maintain a healthy attitude of respect and service toward others. They naturally refrain from mistreating, cheating, or insulting others, when they perceive in them the presence of God. Also, the humanly created distinctions of nationality, creed, caste, sex, status, and color, all become irrelevant. Thus, they elevate their mind by seeing God in all living beings, and finally reach the supreme goal.Hence, a public servant should see God's prsence in all living beings and serve them from the bottom of their heart. This shloka can be used in gs 4 questions of public service, qualities of a good public servant, good character and similar topics in essay paper. Please recommend us if you like our content. आलस्योपहता विद्या परहस्तं गतं धनम्। अल्पबीजहतं क्षेत्रं हतं सैन्यमनायकम्॥ Procrastination leads to destruction of knowledge and wealth is lost if it is in other hands. Farm with less seeds and an army without commander both are destroyed. This shloka is from Chanakya Neeti and is written by Chanakya. Bottom line:One should do multiple revisions of the knowledge one has acquired. One has to practice it multiple times so that the knowledge gets internalised. One should be careful in dealing with money as money and relationships often don't go well together. To achieve success in life a combination of multitude of factors are required. There has to appropriate input from one's side, there has to be correct direction and also one has to practice one's skill, craft or knowledge. These are the key ingredients for success.Life should filled with actions rather than inactions. So friends tie your shoelaces and be ready 😊. Stating specific usage of this shloka is difficult. You can use them according to the demand of the question. Please share our unique, first-of-its-kind initiative but only if you like it. नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभु: | अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तव: || 15|| The omnipresent God does not involve Himself in the sinful or virtuous deeds of anyone. The living entities are deluded because their inner knowledge is covered by ignorance. This shloka is from the holy book the Bhagwad Gita,Verse 15,Chapter 5. Bottom line:This shloka enunciates the concept of 'free will'.Every human being exercises his/her choice in performing a bad deed. One can't hold God responsible by giving the logic that since God controls every act in the universe,so the bad deed was the choice of God.The individual soul has the freedom to perform good or bad actions by the exercise of its own free will. That free will is the basis of the play of creation and it accounts for the varieties of consciousness amongst the souls in existence. God’s work is like that of an umpire in a cricket match. He keeps giving the results, “Four runs!” ,“Six runs!” “He’s out!”.The umpire cannot be blamed for the decision, for it was based upon the way the player performed. One may ask why God granted free will to the soul.It is because the soul is a tiny part of God and it possesses His qualities to a minuscule extent.God is abhijna swaraṭ (supremely independent),and so the soul also possesses a tiny amount of independence to utilize its senses, mind, and intellect in the manner it wishes. Also, without free will there can be no love.A machine cannot love since it has no independence to choose.Only a personality that has the ability to choose possesses the option to love. Since God has created us to love Him,He has endowed us with free will. The exercise of our own free will results in good and bad deeds, and we must not blame God for them. Stating the specific usage of this shloka would be difficult. However, this shloka can be used in gs 4 questions and essay centred around spirituality. Please share the channel if you like the content. This doha is of Vrind Kavi. Bottom line:One should not break the trust of any person. If one breaks it then nobody will trust that person in future.Even in business, trade it is the trust and the reputation among the customers that leads to its blossoming. The Economic Survey 2019-20 propounded the idea of “trust as a public good that gets enhanced with greater use”.A civil servant should strive to gain the trust of public and shouldn't break the public trust at any cost.A civil servant should be bold, honest, upright and have utmost devotion and dedication to public service.
