Meaning forgiveness is for those snakes who have poison. It is meaningless for snakes who don't have teeth, poison and are meek. Same applies to humans, only powerful can forgive and not weak.

It will hardly take 10 minutes. 'Take pride in speaking the Dev Bhasha.' Kindly help in this passionate dream of taking Sanskrit to UPSC aspirants in particular and the masses in general. प्रयत्न-शैथिल्य-अनंत-समाप्तिभ्याम “Letting go of the effort and uniting with the infinite." This shloka has been given by Patanjali in his Yoga Sutra. Broadly, it reflects the spiritualistic idea elaborated in ancient Indian texts. There is a supreme entity " brahm" and we are all part of it and wish to combine with it. Though this philosophy is much deep don't trouble yourself much. Use this shloka while writing Gs 4 answers that have application of ethics, duty ethics questions and in essay elaborating to shun materialism and embrace spritualism.

राजा चेन्न भवेद्लोके पृथिव्यां दण्डधारकः शूले मत्स्या निवापक्षयं दुर्बलात बलवत्तराः When taking the stick of punishment , the king doesn't protect the Earth, the strong people destroy the weak people, as it happens in water where big fishes eat small fishes. This shloka has been taken from Shanti Parva of Mahabharata.
