If the slave truly placed his trust in Allah in the truest sense of trust, and all the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth were to plot against him, Allah would surely make for him a way out, suffice him, and aid him. There was a dispute between Ibn al-Sammak (rahimahullah) and one of his friends. His friend said to him: “Tomorrow (i.e., on the Day of Judgment) we will meet to reproach each other.” He (ie: Ibn al-Sammak) replied: “Rather, tomorrow (in this life) we will forgive each other (i.e., this dispute is not worth settling on the Day of Judgement).” [al-Bayhaqi (rahimahullah), Shu’ab al-Imaan, pg. 562, vol. 10, no. 7996] t.me/striving4firdaws

I know that thanking Allah per se is (in itself) one of the bounties of Allah upon His slaves but still I do not know how to thank Him for all (the blessings I want to thank Him for) that He bestowed upon me! [Sayd al-Khater, Ibn al-Jawzi (rahimahullah), Chapter 307, Page 883] t.me/striving4firdaws

Looking at (indulging in) falsehood  (disobedience) abundantly, takes away the recognition of truth from the heart. [Ibraheem ibn Adham (rahimahullah), al-Hilyah, 8/22] t.me/striving4firdaws

It was said to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, “Which of the people is best?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Everyone who is pure of heart and truthful in speech. They said, “Truthful in speech we know, but what is pure of heart?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: It is a heart that: • fears Allah • and is clean. • There is no sinfulness in it, • and neither any aggression (baghiy), • nor malice/grudge (ghila), • nor envy (hasad). ‏ "As for the worldly life, no matter how many years you live in it, it is a life that is temporal and short- lived. There is no good in it, and the greatest regret are those who lost their deen (religion) with their dunya. But when will they realize the regret? The answer: at the time of death and on the day of judgment." [Explanation of "Ash-Shaafiyah al-Kaamilah" vol.4 (p.494)]📚 t.me/striving4firdaws

Al-Allaamah Shaykh Yahya al-Hajoori (may Allaah preserve him) said: It is reported in the Saheeh that the Prophet  ﷺ said: "When a dead body is placed on a bier and men carry it on their shoulders, if the deceased was righteous, it (the corpse) would say: 'Send me forward, send me forward'. As it (the righteous soul )is being carried they cry for it, while it is happy. It is happy because it is heading towards its righteous deeds. And when it is placed in its grave the righteous deeds come to him, (saying): 'I'm your righteous deeds, in a bright, beautiful image. A youthful image, and it will keep him company because  of his righteous deeds. And nothing will remain with him except his righteous deeds only. The deeds are either good or evil." It is feared for a person that if he makes a habit in delaying his acts of worship, then Allah will test him by delaying everything that is good for him. [Ibn al-‘Uthaymeen (rahimahullah), Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 13/54] t.me/striving4firdaws

The Believers Are the Cause of Good Shaykh Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said: ” فالمؤمنون هم سبب الخير لا سبب الشر  كما يظنه اهل الجاهلية، إنما سبب الشر  هم العُصاة والمشركون والكَفَرَة، فما يصيب اهل الأرض من الكوارث والمصائب إنما هو بسبب العُصاة، وما يُصيبُها من الخيرات فهو بفضل الله، وسببه اهل الطاعات واهل الصلاح والتقوى، ولهذا إذا خَلَت الأرض من الصالحين في آخر الزمان تقوم القيامة وتخرب الدنيا . “ "The believers are the cause of good, not the cause of evil as the people of ignorance believe. Rather the cause of evil are the sinners, the polytheists, and the dibelievers. Therefore that which afflicts the people of earth of catastrophes and acflictions, it is only due to the sinners. And that which happens to it of goodness then it is by Allaah's grace, and the cause of it is the people of obedience, righteousness, and piety. And for this reason, when the earth is devoid of righteous people in the end of times, the day of judgement will be established and the world will be destroyed." A Treasure That is More Expensive than Gold The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said to Shaddad bin Aws –Radhi Allaahu anhu: " يا شداد بن أوس إذا رأيت الناس قد اكتنزوا الذهب و الفضة فاكنز هؤلاء الكلمات : ‘O Shaddad bin Aws! When you see the people  amassing gold and silver, then amass these words:  " اللهم إني أسألك  الثبات في الأمر .. وأعوذ بك من شر ما تعلم وأستغفرك لما تعلم إنك أنت علام  الغيوب " O Allah, I ask You for firmness in the matter (ie Islaam) and determination upon guidance. And I ask of You for that which obligates Your mercy and resolutions for Your forgiveness. I ask You for gratitude over Your blessings, I ask You to help me worship You in the best manner, I ask You for a pure heart, and I ask You for a truthful tongue. And ask of You for the best of what You know, and I seek refuge with You from the evil of what You know and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know. Verily, You alone are All-Knowing of the Unseen.’ [Shaykh al-Albaani, As-silsilah as-Saheehah (3228)] 📚 t.me/striving4firdaws

Follow Insinuating Whispers with Good Deeds The more you have bad thoughts about a Muslim, the more you should care for him and pray for him, because doing that will annoy the shaytaan and push him away from you, so that he will not instil bad thoughts in you lest you resort to offering supplication for your brother and caring for him! Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: And some of his senior companions (rahimahumullah) used to say: I love that I could be to my friends the way he (i.e., Ibn Taymiyyah - rahimahullah) was to even his enemies; And I never saw him once supplicate upon or against anyone, ever. Rather, he would pray for them. One day I had come to him congratulating him upon the death of one of his greatest enemies and from amongst the most severe and harmful of them. But he very sternly scolded and reprimanded me and said “innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rāji'ūn” (ie: indeed to Allah we belong and indeed to Allah we will return). Then he stood right away and hastened to the home of the deceased and gave them his condolences. Then he said to them “Consider me like I am in his place. There will not be any need you may have that you require help in, except that I will help you with it” among other similar things. And so the family became happy with him, and prayed for him and honored this act from him. So may Allah have mercy upon him and be pleased with him. If you see Allaah giving you from His blessings one after the other, whilst you yourself are constant upon disobeying Him (and moving away from Him), then beware! Because these (i.e., blessings) are only an enticement (towards punishment) that Allaah is enticing you with. [Ibn al-Qayyim (Rahimahullah), ad-Daa wa-Dawaa, pg. 35] t.me/striving4firdaws

*Hadith - When will the Last Day be?* _In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful._ Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Once the Prophet ﷺ was speaking to us when, a bedouin came and asked him: “When will the Last Day be?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued his talk. Some of those present thought that he had heard him but disliked the interruption and the other said that he had not heard him. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ concluded his speech he asked, “Where is the one who inquired about the Last Day?” The man replied: “Here I am.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, “When the practice of honouring a trust is lost, expect the Last Day.” He asked: “How could it be lost?” He replied, “When the government is entrusted to the undeserving people, then wait for the Last Day.” (Al-Bukhari) _*Commentary:* Here a very important sign of the nearness of the Day of Judgement has been mentioned: The affairs of the world will be in the hands of wicked and undeserving people. The sinners and wicked people will become the leaders of the world. The preaching pulpits would also be occupied by people who would be greedy and ignorant. They will be devoid of piety and abstinence._ *📚[Riyaadiss-Saliheen (The Meadows of the Righteous)* *By Imam An Nawawi Chapter 370, Page 532, No 1837]* t.me/striving4firdaws
