Team Model Africa Union-Ethiopia is pleased to have been part of the 250th Independence Day celebration of the United States of America in Addis Ababa. This date also marks 20 years since that opening of the US mission to the African Union. Attendees include Ambassador Ervin Massinga, the United States Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia; Walter Parrs, the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Mission to the African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Mosses Vilakati, Commissioner of Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy, and Sustainable Environment and; H.E. Hadera Abera Admassu; State Minister of Ethiopia. The event highlighted the remarkable relationship between the US and Ethiopia that dates back to two centuries ago. Moreover, it showed hopes for further relations between the the African Union and the United States of America
