CS(P) 2026 Paper -2(CSAT)

The paper was extremely difficult and lengthy, demanding deep conceptual understanding throughout. It reminded me of the 2023 paper, when the pattern changed unexpectedly and the cutoff dropped significantly. Most importantly, no matter how your paper went, do not judge your performance right now. Remember, this is a relative exam. So, I sincerely request all of you — please do not make the mistake of checking answer keys immediately. For now, focus only on CSAT. That should be your only priority. CSAT accha ho gaya, toh aage ke chances bahut strong rahenge.

Original Constitution provided for 7 judges+ CJI under Article 124 Parliament increased number of judges 6 times till now. 7th time is yet to happen as it's Proposed Supreme Court (Number of Judges) Amendment Bill, 2026. Number of Judges in Supreme court can be increased by an Act of Parliament. According to Article 146, the salaries, allowances, and pensions of the Supreme Court judges are charged on the Consolidated Fund of India. https://www.pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2258131

Many aspirants ask me how to analyse PYQs (Previous Year Questions). I have always said the same thing: read the questions carefully and analyse all the options as well. For example, as explained through this question, (there are many such questions in PYQs, but it’s not possible to include all of them here.) Now see: if you have gone through PYQs, and this question is from 2008, and from the UPSC answer key we know that the correct answer is “Cassini,” then PYQ analysis means you should learn what Cassini is, along with understanding the other options too. Then look at 2014, UPSC again asked a question related to Cassini. If you had already understood Cassini from the 2008 PYQ, you would be able to eliminate the incorrect option and reach the answer. In that question, Cassini was incorrectly associated with Venus, which is wrong, since it is related to Saturn. Through this, you can secure 2 marks, which are very valuable. I’m not saying the entire paper comes from PYQs, but you will definitely benefit from 3–4 questions, which can help you gain around 6–8 marks. 🎯 Less sources. More clarity. Better results. 👉 : @UPSC_MentorPro

PYQs asked in CSE on Nuclear Physics.

The above questions show the similarity among three questions that were asked consecutively in 2023, 2024, and 2025. There are a few more questions like this. Whenever you solve PYQs and find any pattern, make sure to revise that chapter thoroughly. There is a strong possibility that it may be asked again in some form.

Last 18 days: Revise your Basics and CA ( polity, economy, geography and History, Env and science tech) Solve as many PYQs as you can. Give sufficient time to CSAT as well. And avoid any new sources at this time. Nothing more.
