A city councilwoman suddenly “shot ahead” of Spencer Pratt in the vote count, kicking him out of the race for Los Angeles Mayor, KTLA reports. The election was six days ago, the votes were being counted at a snail’s pace, and Pratt had a solid second place position behind the incumbent mayor, meaning he was headed to the November election, until a batch of mail in votes counted Sunday into Monday surged the third place councilwoman past Pratt, ending his race, The Guardian reports.
