The real MEGA crisis (not smaller, at that day or week looking significant) moves.. come when completely unexpected to everyone except some in-the-know analysts. Remember 2008. They all remind us on twitter to remember... Yes, remember... what was then? Did the entire market yell about it happening? No! They were fucking clueless. I think for this reason mostly the real crisis will be delayed. Alright, poltics over, ready for final conclusions and implications for our favorite bitcoin..

Brother, imagine your average dirty politician. The odds are if you were to name one bank, would be he holds in Credit Suisse imo. And what politicians love more than anything? Their money. You think it will just that easily collapse? My bias is towards: people overestimate it. I don't have it, let me repeat, strong enough to tell you: "go for it"... but I have to speculate with you. My bet is against it defaulting that quickly.

Another wonderful reason why it might be good opportunity to buy the CS shares? Because of the timing... sentiment is fresh of SVIB failure... and now guys are giving higher than usual odds of it happening to other banks as well. If I'd have just a bit more edge in it, I'd be saying to buy it and long it... but I lack fundamental knowledge in terms of plan of swiss government of response of such things, and not public one, but the real one... we don't have many historic examples of it either.. so yeah... sidelines, popcorn... and maybe buy one single share just for the historic sake of it. Cheers! Although, on a second thought, not giving money to Swiss sounds also very attractive :P

If I'd know this with a bit more confidence, I'd be now buying the shares of Credit Suisse... however, I am not familiar with Swiss latest 'bailout program'... so fuck it. And also fuck them. When has their banking system done anything good for anyone but themselves? Banking secrecy? They prostituted it when they opened it to the US requests in 1990. Banking ethics? They negated it by freezing funds. Political neutrality? They abandoned it by joining in condemning an Ukrainian war, which, although sad like ANY war... it's not much different than MANY wars waged by the member nations of now 'saviours of Ukraine). Fuck Swiss cynicism. Let's talk crypto!

re swiss: they fucked it when they involved in the Ukraine war. Swiss as a country built their financial strength by being known as a neutral country. Even in WW2.... and now the smartasses joined the political statements about the Ukrainian war. Well, they wonder why Arabs are punishing them? There are multi powers in the world... while the world we mostly know it is the western, Holywood portrayed one... population wise it's about 50-50 divided between those supporting West backed Ukraine and Russia. Don't believe me... see the UN votes and the number of people each country represents. We sometimes forget we are not the center of the world.
