We are now looking for a proactive Sr.Customer Service Executive- Imports to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Handle end-to-end import shipment coordination Act as the single point of contact for customers for import-related queries. Receive and verify import documents (BL/AWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.). Track shipment status and provide regular updates to customers. Ensure accuracy and completeness of import documentation. Coordinate with customs clearance teams / CHA for timely clearance. Resolve documentation discrepancies with overseas agents and customers Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and NVOCCs. Coordinate with transporters for delivery planning and scheduling. Handle detention, demurrage, and port-related issues proactively. Handle shipment delays, rollovers, damages, and customer complaints. Escalate critical issues to management with clear solutions. Maintain shipment records, customer files, and MIS reports. Support billing team with import invoices and cost confirmations. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate in any discipline (preferably in logistics, supply chain, or commerce). 2–5 years of experience in Import Customer Service / Import Operations in a freight forwarding or logistics company. Hands-on experience in handling sea and/or air import shipments. Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and port operations. Experience working with international agents and shipping lines preferred. Good knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and incoterms. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/logistics software. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach. Proficiency in spoken Hindi is required.
