✅Accredited and funded by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF), the IBF (CU10) Certificate in IT Infrastructure Support, Monitoring and Cyber Security equips learners with a holistic knowledge of technology competencies and technical skills to secure computer network resources.
On completion of The Certificate in Cyber Security course, learners should be able to:
• Monitor IT infrastructure operations and perform IT infrastructure maintenance and support tasks of both proactive and reactive nature.
• Provide the appropriate resolution for IT infrastructure issues of different nature using Firewalls.
• Explain how performing continuous reviews and assessments on risk and vulnerabilities contributes to formulating preventive measures for IT infrastructure issue.
• Identify common security related issues in IT infrastructure.
• Identify the source of issues including cyber threats, account compromise, system failure and develop troubleshooting procedures.
• Identify the impact of security incidents and classify issues to infrastructure Network and Information Infrastructure Virtualization platform.
• Identify required information on IT infrastructure issues to be gathered from the relevant sources and stakeholders to gain accurate understanding of the issues.
• Perform trend analysis on key issues related to IT infrastructure and analyse findings to guide the next steps and security policies, standards and guidelines.
• Describe effective methods to analyse trends based on issues identified such as Cryptography and Authentication Applications to resolve issues related to IT infrastructure.
• Describe effective methods to analyse trends based on issues identified from historical reports, including identification of common issues.
Assessment consists of one take-home individual assignment of about 3,000-3,500 words (60%) and one closed-book examination (40%).
To achieve a PASS grade in this course, students must obtain an overall marks of a least 40%.

- Basic IT Competency
- Matured Student
- A laptop with camera for Zoom

Latest Updates for CFP Program
New Entrants into the Singapore’s CFP Certification Programme are allowed to attempt at most 5 new modules at the first exam sitting, where Module 1 is compulsory. The additional 4 Modules are optional, which can be chosen from Module 2 to Module 5 of your choice.
Existing Candidates are allowed to attempt any or all Module 2, 3, 4 and 5 at subsequent examination sittings on condition that they have passed Module 1.
The Final Step (Module 6): Module 6 can only be attempted on the successful completion and passing of Module 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

per modules (until 31/12/2020) on the CFP programme -
1) You only need to pay the remaining 5% of the course fees, through cash or SkillsFuture credit. You are only required to pay $75 per module.
2) After you have fulfilled the attendance of 75% and passed the examination, you will be eligible for $10 X 24 hours per module training award grant awarded by IBF.
3) To qualify for 95% IBF funding + Training Allowance Grant (TAG), your lessons / classes must be completed by 31 December 2020 and pass the first / resit exam of modules1,2,3 by 31st March 2021 and Modules 4.5.6 by 30th April 2021 .
