Lime, cement was commonly used as a stabilizer to alter the properties of soils. From recent studies it is observed that solid waste materials such as fly ash, rice husk ash are used for this purpose with or without lime or cement. Disposal of these waste materials is essential as they are causing dangerous effects in the environment. With the same intention, a review of the literature on the use of solid waste materials for soil stabilization was carried out and it is presented here. The industry has many silos, a non-collaborative process among its different stakeholders, old analogue methods, and traditions. It all results in fragmented markets with low margins and unpredictable project performance. Since 2007, the industry has been on a digitization journey with Building Information Modeling processes, laser scanning & digital surveying, and drones' usage in site surveillance and progress measurements. In the future, building on that and using Blockchain-powered contracts and setting up an automated payment mechanism help's to mitigate construction industries payment delays, disputes (Ways the industry is combating problem & How we can ease the problem) The construction industry has been plagued with late payment and nonpayment for a long time, and sometimes liquidation of major companies forces smaller companies to go bankrupt due to outstanding payments from them (World tallest tower, "Burj Khalifa" builder Arabtec faces liquidation). A Construction company cash-flow reflects its overall business condition; in many cases, negative cash-flow pushes the company into financial trouble and sometimes in existential conditions. Most companies operate under quite a tight cash-flow and limited reserves; they are often subjected to late tax payment fines. While contracts do carry a clause that gives a contractor the right to charges fines for late payments, this is seldom practised for cultural and historical reasons and for fear of blacklist by big clients.
