It’s your mind. Fill it up with what you like.
Fill it with worldly thoughts and you’ll feel heavy like the animals of this world.
Fill it with purity of Allah’s thought & you’ll feel light like the angels in the heavens.
[Shaykh Hasan Ali]
The world is a paradise for the disbeliever and a prison for you,
The world is the prison of the believer!
Yet you love it, just as they do.
A new perspective for you and I, when we complain about Islām making things Haram.
We were never meant to be free here in the first place!
Set high goals, work hard, make du'ā', have tawakkul and at the end of each day, be pleased with your destiny for that day.
