| 2 | LA SCADENZA DELLE CARTE D'IDENTITÀ CARTACEE AL 3 AGOSTO 2026
L'argomento della CIE continua a tenere banco. In particolare circolano molte opinioni errate secondo cui la carta d'identità sarebbe necessaria se collegata allo SPID. Lo SPID viene rilasciato sulla base di qualsiasi documento di identità valido per cui basterà sostituire la vecchia carta d'identità con la patente, il passaporto o altro documento valido per continuare ad utilizzare lo SPID.
Inoltre, la circolare del Ministero dell'Interno n. 76/2025 viene presentata come se fosse un provvedimento idoneo a determinare la scadenza delle carte d'identità al 3 agosto 2026.
La circolare non può farlo perché non sono state abrogate le norme che riconoscono validità anche ai vecchi documenti cartacei. Il riferimento al Regolamento UE 2019/1157, che pure si legge in alcuni pareri che circolano sui social media e che è contenuto, incredibilmente, nella circolare 76/2025, è errato poiché il regolamento in questione è stato annullato dalla Corte di giustizia UE con la sentenza Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden (CGUE, 21 marzo 2024, C-61/22) e successivamente sostituito con il Regolamento 2025/1208.
Le disposizioni dell'UE riguardano solo le carte d'identità come documenti per l'espatrio e non incidono sulla loro validità come documenti di identità.

La CIE è uno strumento di oppressione e di controllo totale ed in quanto tale va boicottata.
Usiamo il passaporto, la patente o lo SPID ed evitiamo di cadere nei tranelli del governo.
