Konami reduced man marking effectiveness and added deep defender and tough marker playstyles.
Konami reduced stunning shot effectiveness and added snap strike skill.
Your passes not working is not always server issues. Game nerfs and adds a new skill. Even paid skills gets nerfed and a new skill is introduced and the cycle keeps going on.
In short, invest in stuff that can't be nerfed.

Easy way to find skills that can't be nerfed "easily" is whether you control the action or AI controls the action.
What AI controls can't be nerfed or reduced easily.
Example shadow hunt skill, attack trigger is ai based.
What you control can be nerfed easily. Pass skills like visionary pass and all other unnecessary garbage will keep on getting nerfed and nerfed.
You control long reach tackle. It gets nerfed and power tackle is introduced. You buy power tackle and it gets nerfed and Beast Tackle is introduced.
You get the point? It's about playing with a strategy that wins you matches.
For mobile, if you are a 4bar connection player, you can reduce to a 3 bar server. The game is more stable at 3 bar and has scripts in your favour with some of the free configurations I've given out.

Core Strategy & Tactics
* The Approach: Purely offensive, attack-minded strategy abandoning traditional man-marking for "Counter Targets".
* Strikers (CFs): Two "Goal Poacher" strikers. Apply "Anchoring" and "Counter Target" instructions to both.
* Essential Skills: Strikers must have the "Attacking Surge" skill and high "Weak Foot Accuracy" (Occasionally Very High or Rarely Very High).
* Manager: Frank Lampard with a "Long Ball" playstyle is recommended.
Player Training & Progression
* Strikers: Max out Attacking Awareness (99 or 100) and Acceleration. Aim for ~90 Ball Control. Lower finishing slightly to keep Stamina around 84.
* Midfielders: "Destroyer" playstyle. Train Attacking Awareness to 90 and Defensive Engagement to 88. (One midfielder can drop Attacking Awareness to 72 if Acceleration is kept high to delay runs).
* Defenders (CBs, LB, RB):
- Center Backs (CBs): "Shadow Hunt" skill is essential to drop back and intercept. If they have it, 88 Defensive Engagement is enough.
- If a CB lacks "Shadow Hunt", max Defensive Engagement to 103.
- Left/Right Backs: Shadow Hunt not needed. Increase Defensive Engagement to 99 or 100 and ensure Stamina is 84+.
* Goalkeeper: Maximize "Catching" to 102 and ignore Attacking Awareness.

Key Tactical & Team Setup:
- Anchoring & Man Marking: Set Anchoring individual instructions on both Center Forwards (CFs). Use Center Backs (CBs) to Man Mark the opponent's CFs directly (e.g., right CB marks right CF).
- Team Playstyle: Build the team predominantly using players with the Destroyer playstyle across defense and midfield to maintain aggressive pressing.
- Formation & Playstyle: Recommends running a 4-3-3 / fluid formation paired with Long Ball or Long Ball Counter playstyles.
Player Profiles & Training Guides:
1. Center Backs (CBs)
- Stats to Maximize: Prioritize reaching 99 Defensive Engagement and 99 Acceleration (essential for man-marking).
- Recommended Players: Gennaro Gattuso and Marcel Desailly.
- Stat Tweaks: If acceleration cannot reach 90+, drop acceleration points to boost stamina while maintaining 99 defensive engagement.
2. Midfielders (CMFs / DMFs)
- High Attacking Awareness: Train CMFs (e.g., Darren Fletcher) with high Attacking Awareness so they join attacks and operate like extra strikers.
- Defensive Engagement Cap: Keep midfielder Defensive Engagement capped around 84 (do not over-invest if base stats are already high).
- Staggered Attack Strategy: Keep at least one midfielder (e.g., Paul Pogba) with lower Attacking Awareness (~72–74) to delay runs and create space instead of everyone rushing forward.
3. Attackers (CFs / AMFs)
- Main Center Forwards: Primary CFs (e.g., Mbappé, Cristiano Ronaldo) should feature 90+ Attacking Awareness and 90+ Acceleration.
- Secondary Attacker Dynamic: Include one secondary attacker (e.g., Lionel Messi, Lamine Yamal) with high acceleration (>90) but lower Attacking Awareness (~85). In a fluid setup, this player drops back to help defend and makes unique, delayed diagonal runs during counters.
