Volume represents total trading activity, while Delta shows the difference between buying and selling pressure.
Ultra-high or very high volume indicates significant fuel in the market, but this activity may get absorbed by the opposing side, preventing the price from moving as expected. When significant absorption is absent, the same high volume can fuel a strong directional move.
By combining Delta with Market Profile, we can understand whether aggressive buying or selling is producing results or getting absorbed at important market locations, helping us interpret market activity more effectively. | 92 |
