They were one of 60 Connect Groups taking part in the Year of Release (2025-2026), a year-long exercise to encourage CGs to lead our church family in loving others as a community. It was the first time Christus Invictus is volunteering as a group. “So often, as an usher, I see people coming and leaving church as disconnected individuals, couples, or families,” CG leader Georjina Chia says. “Few friendships are formed.
