| 2 |  I am officially a transplant person, I don't know how it sounds in English but in Spanish it's very funny like moving a plant from one pot to another or to a garden, anyway that's how I feel, healthier and with more land around me to expand and no longer so confined to a small pot 🌻
After years of having the eyesight of an old woman, everything is finally clear, but my brain is sabotaging me, thinking this is temporary and that my eyesight will get worse again 👻
More checkups are still needed, as well as a future operation on the other eye, so I'll keep raising funds to make it happen 💪
So, I've been resting a lot these past two weeks, disconnected from everything, so I have a lot of messages to answer and I need to catch up on my responsibilities 🤓
The good thing is that my eyesight has improved, although the astigmatism is still clinging to me for some reason, but it's nothing that can't be fixed✨

Me acaban de confirmar la fecha para mi cirugía de trasplante endotelial de córnea (DSAEK): será el 14/5.
Después de la operación voy a necesitar un tiempo de recuperación, apenas pase los primeros controles médicos sabré si puedo continuar trabajando o no. Por el momento no puedo hacer mucho más que agradecer de corazón cada mensaje de apoyo y la ayuda que me brindaron con comisiones y donaciones en estos meses
La cirugía tiene un costo muy alto, alrededor de $8000 USD. Afrontarla significa quedarme con poco ahorro pero sinceramente vale cada centavo si eso me permite, por fin, experimentar una mejor calidad visual después de 31 años de vida. Además estoy bajo el Sistema de Protección Integral para personas trasplantadas y me estará promoviendo algo de ayuda

Eye temporarily out of service 👁🩹
Commissions CLOSED for the time being
I just received confirmation of the date for my corneal endothelial transplant (DSAEK) surgery: it will be on May 14th.
After the operation, I will need some recovery time. Once I have passed the initial medical checkups, I will know whether or not I can continue working. For now, I can only express my heartfelt gratitude for every message of support and the help I have received through commissions and donations over these past months.
The surgery is very expensive, around $8,000 USD. Paying for it means I will practically have little savings left, but honestly, it is worth every penny if it allows me to finally experience better vision after 31 years of life. I am also under the Sistema de Protección Integral for transplant recipients and will be receiving some assistance.
